Danare Surana (My female Elf Mage) starts out as a rather inexperienced young girl, having been locked up in the Circle Tower for nearly all her life. However, as such, part of her studies entailed courses in philosophy, morality, etc. During these courses, she developed a more subtle approach in dealing with life and its many difficult aspects.

Basically, for her, self-determination is paramount. One cannot decide what to do with the life of another, only that person themselves can decide. As such, her aim is to save as many lives as possible, and make those lives as free as possible as well. Slavery is not-done, the chantry's control of the Circle is not-done, etc. That is her motivation.

...she also has a strange obsession for griffons.

Garion Hawke, male warrior, on the other hand, knows how hard it is to have nothing, and to try and build soemthing from that. That is why he offers help where possible. He also knows that mistakes can be made...Carver has taught him that. He would never admit it to anyone, because his mind knows it's not his fault, but in his heart, he still blames himself for what happened that day. He wants to be the pillar of support, the caretaker for, not just his family, but everyone around him as well. He wants to be strong for them, so that they don't have to suffer. Whatever doubts plague him, are Garion's own problems, and nobody has to suffer those but him.

EDIT: Oh, as for Hawke and bloodmagic: Bloodmagic is an instrument. You do not blame an arm for killing a loved one: it's the person to whom the arm belongs that is to blame. Is blood magic a risk? Probably so. But, unlike a sword, or bow (or a gun, for a more modern argument), blood magic is not just an instrument of death and destruction. Blood magic can be used for creative purposes as well, unlike nearly all weaponry. As such, merely the use of blood magic does not warrant a death sentence to Hawke. Only if a blood mage threatens the lives of others, will he intervene, just as he would with other non-mages who would do the same.

I played Origins so many times so there ain't one I can call as my canon. I can write down basics tho'
- Male Human Mage with Spirit Healer (I either go with AW or Shapeshifter, don't like BM)
- romancing Alistair. or Zevran if I don't feel like cheating
- Morrigan, Alistair, Lelliana and Zevran always %100 friends
- Do Harrowmont's quests and side with Bhelen at end on Orzamar
- Kill elves, recruit Werewolves.
- Side with mages
- Alistair is king (*sigh* this is why I still couldn't see a warden Alistair on DA 2)
- Always do dark ritual (I love Morrigan's Denerim gate speech)
- Leave with Lelliana or Zevran to travel Thedas. (spending time in castle sounds so boring, Alistair can wait for my return )

Awakenings:
- Only played once and hated. Save was on my old computer so couldn't remember what I did.

DA 2 - Orin Hawke (still in play on Act 3)
- Archer rogue witty/funny guy
- Max friendship with Aveline and Varric. Full rivalmance with Merrill
- Fenris didn't recruited. Isabela ran off. Anders kicked out after Dissent and will be killed.
- Bethany off with wardens.
- Will side with Templars (as he is very annoyed with mages after his mother's dead)
- Agreed to stay with Merrill no matter what happens.

Let Varric kill Bartrend and persuaded him to give up the shard.

This is exactly what I did.  A Liberatarian Circle mage (Soria Amell) in DA:O, and my crazy Anders-mancing apostate (Natale Hawke) in DA2.  Thedas is so screwed.

Yes! That's my canon Dragon Age, too, except I used a Morrigan-mancing male!Warden and an Anders-mancing male!Hawke. What with godbabies and abominations and a deep, deep hatred of Templars.... the Chantry doesn't stand a chance.

Saved the circle, saved the elves and freed the werewolves, saved Isolde and Conner, and gave the throne to Harromont.
Married Alistair

Awakenings:
Imported pretty much the same. Spared the Architect because I read the books prior and I wanted to trust it because of those events (Duncan would have been ashamed) and I couldn't bring my self to kill Utha after reading.

DA2: Still a work in progress. But will more than likely end in two files on each side; one a Templar and the other a mage probably both romancing Fenris.

-Aveline became captain and marrired Donnic
-Seb stayed with the chantry
-Helped Anders and regrted what she did
- Kept siding with the mages but in the final battle sided with the Templars, spared the innocent mages and became Viscount to repair the city.

My Origins mage was an elf, so no legacy mages for me, but my Hawke is a strong believer in mage freedom and I like to think my Warden is a Resolutionist.  It's a pattern I don't intend to break, so yeah, the Chantry is in trouble.
