I hope so. I want another Forgotten Realms game. DA setting failed, too generic and uninspiring. The only positive - materialistic basis, wasnt developed as good as it could be. Leliana being resurrected in DA2 by maker if killed in DAO is a major letdown. It could've been most atheistic and logical fantasy setting ever, but alas.

What? :?

No developer has ever commented that Leliana was 'resurrected by the maker'.

Yes. Caution, SPOILER follows. In my DAO save import Leliana died when I desecrated Maker shrine with her watching and rebelling. In DA2, as a Hawke, I was given the choice to ask her - "Leliana, from Ferelden? But I heard you died". The reply was something like  "Maker didnt want me to die, so he returned me to this world to complete a mission".

Are you being for real? Seriously? I never killed her in my playthough but I find that hard to swallow.

Leliana is new Andraste, duuh.:bandit:
In DA3 we'll have Urn of Sacred Ashes with Leliana's ashes in it.

That can't be true. It just can't.
If it were... Of it couldn't...But Bioware wouldn't break their own lore, right?
Oh right, DA2.

I'll take your paraphrasing with a grain of salt and say mentioning 'that the Maker helped me' does not equal divine intervention.

"She apparently survives, even if the Warden did not recruit her from Lothering and she never accompanied the campaign. Whether this is intended, an oversight or a bug remains to be seen. She also speaks as if she had accompanied the Warden, even if she did not. Her codex entry, however, seems to dismiss this as rumor, but is open to interpretation. "
-Dragon Age wiki

There would have been an outrage if she would have really said that. So, I don't think that's true.

OK, here's the save just before that encounter - http://zalil.ru/30763377

I guess you need to extract it to Characters/Raistlin/Saves in your saves directory

Ok, now i cheked it. the full correct quote is this -
Hawke : Sister Leliana? From Lothering? But I heard you died.
Leliana : The Maker knew it was not my time. There's more for me to do in this world.

Edit - oh, i didnt noticed earlier post. Yes, this is from my save.

NO.  There will be a DA3.    Posted Image

To guarantee financial success, all BW has to do is put out a sneak peek of Morrigan in DA3. All the Morrigan fan-boys will jump (literally) on DA3 like a dog on pot roast!   Put in Alistair (sqeee!) and get the same effect for the fan-girls.   Posted Image

Thanks Romantiq and Passionaticus.

I guess that means Bethany and my mother can make cameos later! Flesh wound be damned.

For the sake of the broken continuity I hope they scrap DA and go on with better things, or DA is ruined for me due to things like the resurrected Leliana.

I'm sure there will be a part 3. If DA3 has a metacritic score in the 70's or low 80's, I wouldn't count on a part 4. That would be a real shame given how much potential the DA lore has and given how good the writers are with characters.

Last one, too bad really. I want more, but the reception of the fans is just to bad, EA won't want to put out another.

Judging from the cliff hanger ending, we will definently be seeing more of Dragon Age.
