This will be my final request for help before I begin to consider other means of obtaining the Arrival DLC.
I have tried using the Mass Effect DLC route to purchase Bioware points to no avail. I have also tried setting up an alternate paypal account with a Malaysian address to no avail. All I get is a recurrent error in the transaction and nothing will happen.
The most likely cause of the problem is that my EA and Bioware account are assigned to the UK as my location and address, my Paypal is also linked to my location in the UK. However I am currently in Malaysia now and the IP that the Bioware site is receiving is outside of the UK when it comes to me for purchasing Bioware points.
Why such a system is in place is beyond me, since having access to my own secure account here and at Paypal should be verification enough that I am the legitimate user requesting a transaction.
It has been 6 months since I have been able to buy Bioware points. I have waited this long because I had thought there was a problem that would be fixed with the site. It seems that I will need a roundabout way of getting the points. Any help will be appreciated.
