I want a spin-off dwarf-centric title that would center around the retaking of the deep roads.

It would be 50% standard DA small party play coupled with a SIM City-like society building component.

You would secure areas of the deep roads by questing with your main character who would be Sigrun, or someone much like her (warden/LOTD).

After you secured an area, you would need to arrange the colonists and grow the infrastructure with an goal of the organization you build being able to withstand ever-increasing attacks to retake the area.  There owuld be no actual first-person fighting in this part, but rather automated dice rolls versus the paramenters of the current health of the reclaimed area.

If old gods become archdemons, then they could release additional portions of the deep roads and associated arch-demon-area-reclaimation-campaigns that would mean very short development times since the content packs would basically be a map pack with a few lieutentnts and a boss battle.

since the retaking of the deep roads means driving darkspawn to the surface, they could also include a diplomatic sub-game that would allow you to secure large forces from other races for key battles.  For instance: you would coordinate with Alfstanna to have a batallion of bowmen from Waking Sea be laying in ambush to slaughter retreating darkspawn.

This raises questions of how does a party of four adventureres drive 300 darkspawn to retreat.  I'd rather they find a gimmick for this (like use of explosives) than make the party bigger, becuase otherwise it becomes too much like a pure strat game, rahter than a small party campaign game with more active fighting.

Dragon age meets SIM City meets DOTA.
Just a thought.
