Is it a known exploit? Did you know you can bypass cumulating restriction on modes? For instance, you can activate, as a warrior, Elemental Aegis and Turn the blade at the same time, cumulating bonus from both. Normally you can't.

As you can see, it works. Fortitude from Turn the blade is up and elemental resistances are up too. In order to do that, just click quickly on their icon.
Now I tried to activate panacea and vengeance with Anders. It does activate both (icons are shown active) but only one of them will be effective.

The biggest let down about this game is the number of skill and item bugs that made it to release. I should never have to wonder if Skill X is actually working.

Well, compared to DAO, DA2 is wonderfully polished and thoroughly tested In DAO, ~40% of the intended talent/item mechanics either didn't work properly or didn't work at all. I'm not exaggerating, I've written literally pages of talent bug/glitch descriptions for the wiki in its day.

Hah, was going to post about this very thing last night when I noticed Anders had both vengeance and pancea active. Wasn't sure what did it, but figured it was some "too quick for the game" trick. Anders is pretty beastly with both active, isn't he?

I did somehow have Might and Control active at the same time for half of the game. I only noticed that they can't be active at the same time at the Varric's Act 2 quest where i always control him instead of Hawke.

I first found out about this when I was rearranging my quickbar icons and switched Varric's speed, power and precision sustainables around. Somehow that got two of them to activate at the same time, so after playing around with it I got all three to activate. I'll have to look into if the buffs from Harmony still kick in with all three active.
