I hope so. If not I'll be very cross with him ... and kill him again.

this is why you need a more destructive kill him option. i'm pretty sure he could heal that little knife wound right the hell up.

i want his head on a pike, him quartered magically, or a giant dagger going in one ear and out the other. plus another one through his heart. like, anders shishkabab style, not the stupid little splinter in his back.

Given that Justice is a spirit and can either choose to inhabit his body even after he dies or leave it indefinitely, I'd say Anders has a chance of returning. Only he isn't going to be Anders. More like, a meatsuit.

Is Anders really dead? I ask the question because somehow he survive Awakening. I doubt that Bioware would make a mistake like that. They make sure that everyone in the ME Universe that dies as a result of a choice remain dead. There is no question that they would goof that up in the DA Universe. Perhaps Anders is preserved by Justice. Justice cannot be killed. It is not so unlikely since the witch of the wilds can find means to survive. DA 2 may not be the last of Anders. Imagine if Anders is no more. Justice leading the mages. Justice makes a perfect irresistible force because the rationality of his beliefs. DA3: Justification.

Justice was inhabiting a dead body prior to Anders. I'm 99.9% sure he'll have his comeback if he wasn't murdered.

I'd like to see Anders stay dead. I'm not a big fan of characters being brought back from the dead (but with different playthrough options it makes it a bit less clear what 'actually' happened until the next story).

But what could happen is Anders is dead, Vengeance in his corpse-suit, alive... and likely more than a little bit miffed.

I'd point ot that Justice was a spirit before inhabiting Kristoff, now he's merged with Anders and part of an abomination.
As far as I've seen when you kill an abomination you kill both the person and the spirit.

Well... considering that Wynne could be resurrected by a spirit it's not impossible and Leliana also resurrected after I killed her.

Said spirit could only do so once and that was by merging with her. Now it's dying.

DAO, Zevran died in my playthrough but he was still there. Lelianna was left in Lothering but yet she was said to be THE Lelianna that helped the Warden defeat the archdemon.

Even killed Anders and in the narrative, Varris said all but Anders left Hawke. So Bioware's lack of details continues. Anders will still be alive in DA3 along with both Ashley and Kaden in ME3. Just watch. EA doesn't care about details and their orders are screw continuity.

Latest import had him die in Awakening btw and he got better before DA2.

He died but Justice - now Vengeance is not. So like Kristoff before, in future DA game that feature Anders - he will be Anders/Vengeance; a half rotting corpse like Kristoff/Justice

Justice did say that he could technically keep still walking even though he was nothing but bones.
If that talk about a ritual to seperate them was true then Justice would return as he once were.

I doubt this will be the last time we'll see the old stinky.

He wants something that rhymes with Hawke.  And it isn't brains.

Clearly, he's renovating the clinic and needs some caulk.

I hope he makes a surprise appearance right at the beginning of the next game or DLC so I can use the murder knife on him again. ZomVengAnders.

Or make him dead-er.
