everything is fine, i downloaded it, then popped in ME2 and booted it up, started my game, and nothing, no locations to go to, nothing special i can notice, how do i start it?

Haven't played Arrival yet (downloading as we speak!), but have you checked shepard's email? That was, if i remember right, the way LOTSB worked.

I'm having the same issue.

I'm starting a new play through and so far in the middle of recruiting Grunt (after Mordin and Garrus). I'm assuming you have to reach the second leg of the recruitment phase (2nd disc) to get the message from Hackett? If not and I still don't have access to it ima rage. >:

Hrm, I'd like to know a better fix.

I just finished downloading it, and I booted up my oldest playthrough thats 100% complete thus far, and I can't seem to start the mission...

Do you get a message after a mission or something?

In the mean time I guess I'm redownloading.

Same issue here. I don't get the new nebula on my galaxy map so I can't start the mission. Great jobb Bioware, a completly bugged DLC to finnish ME2. How grand.

I loaded an old completed game and there was a pop up informing you to check your private terminal (as is the usual with the dlcs in Mass Effect 2). That should just trigger the mission.

That is, of course, assuming things are working correctly.

I had to return to the Xbox dashboard and restart the game before I got the message from Hackett. Now I am stuck somewhere with no doors to open. Hope this isn't another bug.

i redownloaded it twice and still no mission i am very disappointed with bioware for 2 reasons.

1. i bought every dlc mass effect and buy arrival and i cant even play it.
2. dragon age 2 worst game ever .

Count me in. Restarted, redownloaded it, recruited Archangel, traveled across Galaxy and still no Message coming in. Tried it with my all clear savegame and my in progress character. Nothing.

Congrats Bioware, you're getting worse and worse. Who's great idea was it to use a message instead of placing a damn npc ?

OK, that's a joke, right ? NOW it's working ! Seems like a very glitchy and random DLC to me.

Yeah, here's your fix:

1. If it doesn't work properly, restart ME2.
2. If that doesn't work, restart Xbox.
3. If that doesn't work, redownload.
4. If that didn't work, repeat steps 1-3 until it works.

That's what I did.

My message started fine, but it triggered the collectors attacking my ship again! I've beaten the game and after Shep and co gets back aboard, all the crew was still there!

 Well I just finished downloading Arrival and I am firing it up right now.



I had cleared my system cache so I had to do the update for the game, but in-game I got the update to check my terminal from a pop-up and Kelly with no problems.

Make sure that you finished the Horizon mission or the whole game.

After you downloaded the DLC within the game, exit to Dashboard and start up the game anew. Load your game. When you go to the bridge, Kelly should mention a new message in your private terminal.

You can see which DLC is complete from the main menu: select Downloadable Content. If there is still DLC you do not have, you always see an extra menu choice: New Content Available. Otherwise, that one disappears shortly afterwards.

I have noticed Xbox 360 downloads to be iffy or slow at times and have hickups, aborting downloads from time to time so if this doesn't work I suggest downloading again. However if it specifies the download as complete you should be OK.

Sometimes it also helps going to another system first (Mass Relay) or using the elevator.

Had the same problem as many..downloaded and nothing happened (no message) playing with my completed playthrough. Mine worked by re-downloading Arrival - starting game and travelling to systems - restarting xbox then message appeared while using galaxy map. As long as your Arrival downloaded properly (check in console memory or on dlc list ingame) you should be able to get it working after a little play around

I think it's got something to do whether or not disc one or two is inserted. I had disc one in my tray, and had the same problem as you guys, but as soon as I switched it, the message popped up.

I'm having this issue as well, only after purchasing it on my boyfriends xbox account, it wont even show up on my accounts DLC list (in the cerberus network). I've purchased some mass effect DLC in his profile before. I'm sure this is just a bug that was overlooked, we're retrying.

On our 3rd account that has no Mass Effect 2 data, it shows up in the DLC checklist. (It shows up on his account as well. Its just mine that seems to be missing?)

My issue is pretty specific, so I doubt many people will have feedback for me. Hope this all gets fixed soon.

I know with LOTSB, you had to pass a certain point before you got the message from TIM about the DLC mission. Or maybe complete the whole game and when it gives the option to go back to game, you go back and its there? How the **** do you access this thing?

I played Arrival using disc one and it ran fine. Guess it's a luck thing.

Stupid question time: are all accounts on the same console? Dlc should share seamlessly across different Gamertags on the same console (though that is not to say problems do not arise). Praetor has a link to clear the cache so that might be something to try in the meantime. I would also tentatively also suggest entering the Accounts settings using your Gamertag to access the download history, and then choose the dlc to download again to see if that helps.

AerisTheDragon: I think the earliest Arrival is available in the game (ignoring that you're a PS3 owner) is after Horizon.

How is Dragon Age 2 even close to being the worst game ever.  How can you be disappointed when you have no idea how much work bioware puts into their games to fix issues that whiners like you keep talking about.  So what if there's a bug,  there's always a bug in everything in the world.  World of Warcraft has bugs, StarCraft has bugs, Halo had bugs,  Left 4 Dead had bugs, Assassin's creed had bugs, every game has bugs.  So yes, everything that's NEW will have bugs so calm down and stop getting your panties in a bunch.  Stuff like this happens all the time and Dragon Age 2 is amazing, diverce, and way better performed than Origins.  And have you played it on PC? I'm doubting it because you are a 360 user am I right?  So you don't have good critique and neither does anyone else that doesn't understand a thing about gaming creation.  It's the exact same annoyance as when the Console Wars went on.  I swear it's like listening to 12 year olds kids complain about what console is better then the other with no mechanical, scientific or practical truth to their words so it's annoying.  Just stop saying stupid senseless things that have no back up.
