Yeah, it is a pretty cool fight, but I did not expect it would stay alive for 5+ months
5 months since the final DLC and 6 more months till ME3...

Have you enjoyed the fight? Yes....then no.....then Hell Yeah!
Difficulty level: Insanity
Shepard's class: Vanguard
Weapons used: Eviscerator/Viper
Bonus power: Stasis
A bit late to be contributing to this I know, but I've been absent from my Xbox for a while and only got around to downloading and playing this recently. One of the most frustrating, yet enjoyable fights in either game. I want more like this in ME3!
I'm very impressed by the no-cover vanguard vids. I found cover a must after charging.

Kronner- Would love to see you do some Cryo+Scimitar action, but I thought we'd have to pry the Claymore from your cold dead hands.
Booze works too. My Shep got hammered at the Illium's bar, and switched to his Cryo Suit for a while

Have you enjoyed the fight? YES /
Difficulty level: Insanity
Shepard's class: Power Sentinel
Weapons used: Mattock, Locust, Blackstorm
Bonus power: Energy Drain
What strategy have you used?
First off I activated power armour. The starting point was too exposed to outflanking so I fled to the bottom-left corner of the room where there is an 'L' shaped piece of cover. This kept me well protected from all sides- the cover was protecting me from the front and right, and its positioning meant I wasn't able to be outflanked.
For the first few waves I mainly spammed energy drain to remove shields/repair my shields. Once their shields were down I'd spam either area throw or heavy warp (I'd hit them with warp so they stagger and then take them out with the mattock/locust while they staggered).
The main threats at this stage were flashbang grenades and pyros. Most of the grenades didn't make it over the cover, but if they did, I would slide up and down the cover wall to try and avoid them. With pyros, I ussually hit them with energy drain to remove their shields and then blew them up using overload (one point wonder). I didn't need to leave that cover at all for most of the waves.
Then, the final wave came and I found myself under intense pressure from mech fire and a fresh group of personnel (including a project elite). I was forced to flee the 'L' shaped cover (the heavy mech got too close) and I fled to the right side of the room (my power armour was burst by mech machinegun fire). The group of soldiers moved to head me off. I quickly reactivated power armour and drew out the blackstorm, charging into the middle of the group while powering up the weapon (this almost got me killed

Does this mean that Conrad Verner stole the Claymore while Shepard was drunk?!
Great vid. I'm ashamed to say the Vanguard is the only class that I haven't completed the game with, and it seems that I'm seriously missing out. I've been meaning to play through with one for a while, I'll probably play a femshep claymore Vanguard when I have the chance.

Have you enjoyed the fight? YES /
Difficulty level: Insanity
Shepard's class: Adept
Weapons used: Avenger
Bonus power: Warp Ammo
What strategy have you used?
I wanted to try a Shockwave Adept and I didn't have Warp. I played keep-away with Singularity and Shockwave to cut off their flanking on both sides and to stop them from moving around. The Avenger is a POS, but it did the job. I really like the rifle's looks but its slow DPS kept me from doing anything more aggressive.

Have you enjoyed the fight? Let me think about that.
Difficulty level: Insanity
Shepard's class: Adept
Weapons used: Vindicator, Tempest, Carnifex
Bonus power: Warp Ammo

Well what can I say... I think I used a really cheap spot but it works really well. I also had luck with the spawns of enemies, since I had fewer special (Pyro, Engi and Elite) ones than in previous runs.
All in all not much to say, I love how the throw against the pyro worked out (it was intentional, believe it or not) and I did it in my 7th or 8th try, which is a new positive record for me.

When they suddenly pop up right beside/behind you and you don't have your defenses still up, you're usually screwed.

Strategy: Exploit some safe zones and abuse Adrenaline Rush.
It is not that exciting, but here is the video of the fight:

Enjoyed: Most definitely!
Difficulty: Insanity
class: Vanguard
Bonus: Heavy Stasis
First time on vanguard, went 1/2 (first time I died from a charge glitch <.<). Was a lot of fun charging across the map. I was a little disappointed though, the heavy mech glitched and blew up after a stasis. I didn't see what happened as it was behind me, but I heard the explosion and when I looked it was gone :/.

What strategy have you used?
I tried to play like a vanguard did, closing in constantly to kill with the reload-trick. It's possible if you eat medigel enough to effectively replace your blood with it.

Have you enjoyed the fight? I always enjoy playing ME
Difficulty level: Insanity
Shepard's class: Vanguard
Weapons used: 98% Scimitar 1% Locust 1% Flame Thrower (to finish the Mech)
Bonus power: Energy Drain, but i think i used it only one time.
Well there's nothing much to say. No strategy.
Just charging and trying to kill the pyros as soon as possible.
I'm not a shotgun fan but Scimitar is really fun, but far from the Claymore effectiveness.

I just realized there's a quite annoying Dominate bug during the first wave, check this out:
www.youtube.com/watch
It's really annoying but it only seems to happen during the first wave. For reference:
Engineer Lvl 30
Dominate Lvl 3
Passive: Mechanic

Did you enjoy the fight?
Difficulty level: Insanity
Shepard's class: Engineer
Weapons used: Katana, Predator and Tempest
Bonus power: Dominate
This one took a while and it isn't pretty Oo
www.youtube.com/watch
So it turns out Dominate doesn't work for me on all low lvl goons, not only in the first wave.
I tried to stay at a safe spot and skirmish one or two enemies as soon as there's an opening.
Like I said it's not nice to look at, so much goes wrong in this try, but somehow it still works out.
