Any chance we could see the previous DLC go on sale, since some of us missed that nice sale around New Years last year.

Why are people asking for major choice and character development in a $7.00 Dlc?

what is the complaint about The Arrival? I enjoyed. I enjoyed all the DLC that was made for ME2. I hope ME3 has quality type missions like the DLC did.

The DLC was kinda nice and all, but I just gotta say that the voice acting was really bad.
I really don't know which one I think is worse: Kenson's or Hock's VA.
The dialog was very simplistic, too.
On the bright side, the initial scene was a feast to the eyes. The rain dripping on Shepard's armor was amazingly well-rendered. Nice art direction overall. The Object Rho battle was also a lot of fun, and I thought that playing a solo mission was a nice change of pace; I had been curious to know how well my characters could handle themselves without anyone to back them up.
Good, but felt rushed.

Sofar I've been really happy with ME2 and all of its DLC, but Arrival was truly disappointing.
It was just all so mediocre. Level art design was boring; nothing original there. The combat tried to do something interesting, but sadly failed at that: at no point did I feel I had to change tactics. Both Overlord and Shadow Broker presented much more interesting challanges. Writing was actually bad. The final confrontation might have been interesting if it wasn't for the fact that it was basically a rehash of soundbites from ME2. Everything else seemed equally uninspired, making it really hard to feel invested in what was happening. What else can I say? No new enemies, no bosses. Hardly any meaningful dialogue options.
Really surprised at how even the response to this DLC has been. I just doesn't cut it.

Just got done playing it and I have to say,
Dear Bioware,
PLEASE F-ING TEST YOUR GAMES!!! I have to restart the mission over 5 times before I was able to complete it!!!! I would get to the drop ship and the Dr would say the zone is too hot over and over again after EVERYTHING WAS DEAD!!! I couldnt get it to stop glitching!!! Finally on the 7th run I went in and used no Biotics and just shot everything with a pistol, didnt switch guns etc, didnt blow either explosive until everything was DEAD and checked each explosive I destroyed if she changed her lines and finally it worked ONCE so I could continue! I was so pissed off I took a break when I found out it continued... Once cooled down, I continued and enjoyed it for what it was. Not as cool as the Shadow Broker or Overlord, but it ties the games so why not? I LOVE and HATE you Bioware... LOve your games, but you dont freaking test them for crap! You didnt think anyone would use Biotics?! WTF?! That's my only guess to why it kept breaking....

I'm going to say the story behind it and the link from ME 2 to ME 3 was pure awesome. I was shocked on what went down in one part of the DLC. It was pretty awesome playing this tonight while the PSN was down. I can't wait for ME 3 to come any sooner because of this.

I enjoyed this, particularly the last stand. I get the sense that this DLC's purpose was to set up ME3, and in that regard, it worked.

Okay, I finally managed to complete this.
Good points:
First, it was an interesting epilogue to ME2 and a good way to bridge ME2 to ME3. I thought the areas were beautifully done and some fo the effects, like the ran on Shepard's armour, was very well done. I particularly liked the effects on the final battle segment, with the atmosphere and sound dampening. The battle for Object Rho was challenging and fun, particularly with Harbinger's voice, and the final conversation where you finally see Harbnger's form properly and have a brief conversation was good, if brief (but too long would have taken away from the atmsphere of urgency). Lastly, the music was good and the solo combat was an interesting change of pace, though hope it doesn't return too much in ME3.
Bad Points
The voice acting was pretty sub-par, with the exception of Hackett. Amanda Kenson sounded flat. And the lack of Joker speaking at the end kind of detracted somewhat. I understand paying Seth Green for 2 lines of dialogue might have been a bit unnecessary, but surely you could have re-used lines from elsewhere in the game (like a simple 'roger that' at the end).
Shepard came down with a distinctive case of intelligence loss, comparable to other occasional moments. A more reasoned and in-depth discussion with Kenson on the way to Project Base would have been appreciated.
Stealth section could have been longer and more detailed. That said, the game isn't built for stealth and it's unlikely the gameplay would be redesigned for one DLC mission.
On that note, "Project Base"? Couldn;t someone come up with a better name?
Shepard talkng to him/herself was a bit fo an immersion breaker. Can understand not re-doing combat lnes, but perhaps disabling them for this mission?
Insufficient roleplaying opportunities. I can understand a railroaded story, but I would have liked more dialogue opportunities for Shepard to react to the events.
In brief, it was a resonable DLC but far from the best and nowhere close to Lair of the Shadow Broker in quality or entertainment. While enjoyable, I feel if this was going to be the 'end' of ME2 it should have been given a more extensive and interesting conclusion.
As an aside, I hope we get a couple of minor non-story DLC before ME3, like another Weapons pack or AAP3.

got to say i was really amazed by this DLC
-loved the new achievements, was interesting to manage to pass through some areas without making noice.
-wished stealth part lasted more
-wished all DLC lasted more
-wished it would somehow give me hints about what will happen in ME3, but i cant say i was dissapointed either
-got troubled about how will this affect the ME3 plot. Batarians alrdy hated humans. Now they will seem to have 1 more reason for it *sigh*
-the attack survival in the end bursted me into adrenaline. played it through on Insanity mode using Heightened adrenaline rush all the time while hearing Rho's (or whatever he was called) voice. it all made me overexcited.

2 complaints...
1. Too short. A few more encounters in "the Project's" base would have been nice, even on harder difficulties it felt too quick.
2. Achievements. No achievements for beating at harder difficulty levels? Why?
