Well, that was... meh.

VERY predictable, story is weak (and why do you use nuclear science terms when it's mass effect core you're talking about?), only about 40 minutes of gameplay without missing anything.

i agree...it was quite predictable.

Chris can you tell us what's the difference between that pre-released version and the new one? You said some files for missing in yesterday's version,so I'd really like to know.

Anyone?

Isn't that a 2 day timer?

It is. You'd be better off leaving it from (I originally put down the timer of the countdown in what I thought were spoiler tags but so it doesn't ruin anything I'll simply be vague) a much lower countdown later in the DLC.

As for opinions, I really enjoyed it. The story wasn't the best and the lack of dialogue and decisions were disappointing but I liked how the enemies had various abilities such as overload and inferno grenades which I can't remember if they had in the main game and I also liked the soundtrack and the level design. As others have said, it was too short for me and the ending felt very anticlimactic (but I like how they set up Mass Effect 3) and I was very disappointed that the big thing you had to do (which I won't say as people may not have played it) was not a choice as that, to me, would have been excellent and could have impacted Mass Effect 3 quite a lot. It's still my second favourite Mass Effect 2 DLC (over, in order of how much I enjoyed them, Kasumi's Stolen Memories, Project Overlord, Zaeed: The Price of Revenge and Profect Firewalker) but Lair of the Shadowbroker is still the best for me.

Ok, so I tried to purchase this. Didn't have enough points, so it transferred me to the 'buy points' page. Bought points, bought the DLC, ...or tried to. When I hit submit it brought me back to ME2 main page, and I have gotten no emails or notes that I have purchased *anything*.

I don't want to buy points again if I've already bought them, or buy Arrival again if I've already bought it, but I can find no record that I did either. No emails, it's not in my downloadable content area, etc.

I'm not a fan of DLCs but I enjoyed playing through it, took me 90minutes on Insanity as a Vanguard to finish. The level music was beautiful, it has a a scent of ME1 ;>

Great DLC ! Just finished it. Took me about 2 hours on Insanity and it was the most epic DLC ever ! And one of the most epic scenes in ME2 :)) Great fun for almost free :D

Would quite like details of the soundtrack release, if Chris or anyone has them? Much appreciated.

I'm through it, too and... totally worth the waiting. If you don't like waiting, really... you should just download it about one day before ME3 is released. Really. That DLC is a big tease.

Downloading it now.
It's good to see the haters have made an early start though. Did you log on specially or are you just taking a break from bashing DA2?

That was the best DLC out of the bunch IMO, not the longest but the most enjoyable. Also just got the 5 wave achievement on my second play through and damn that was hard LOL.

Shadowbroker still goes down as the best DLC, this was more like project overlord, short , sharp to the point. The first thing I thought when it was a solo mission was "we couldnt pay voice actors for this, so its solo time". It was over all too quick, but price was right.

Bring on ME3... is this the LAST DLC  for ME 2?

pretty awesome. The one on one with harbinger was cool if not too brief and it was cool seeing hackett. I wonder what the carryover for playing this dlc will be versus not...I totally want to replay it and see variants between my different characters...

I think it was a very great and awesome dlc for the price they had it even if it was short. In my opinion it seems better if you already beaten the story so you can see who is really behind it all. I think the soundtrack was nice and the art and the views were beautiful. The only thing I didnt like its that it was short but i guess for the price it was I cant complain much, its a dlc after all. Just wished I got something new for my room lol =p

Hackett made the dlc worth it. I agree with some others who have posted, it was a bit to predictable at points. Might be because I've played through both games countless of times tho.

None. LOTSB and Arrival are not letting you any final choice (who is the shadow/...). It's to allow in ME3 anybody who didn't play the DLC to consider like they had it done/purshase.

At least, the last time I look. that was what BioWare said.
