The Reapers are coming and the galaxy is at stake!
It is just irritating that they say the illusive man is a terrorist!
He is the only one that gives a damn about humanity!
I am on Cerberus side on this one!
Sacrifices must be made in order to save the galaxy and I totally get that!

Taken directly from the wiki, i'll leave you with this to ponder (as you keep in mind these writers do their homework )..
Cerberus (play /ˈsɜrbərəs/),[1] or Kerberos, (Greek form: Κέρβερος, [ˈkerberos])[2] in Greek and Roman mythology, is a multi-headed hound (usually three-headed)[1][3][4] which guards the gates of Hades, to prevent those who have crossed the river Styx from ever escaping.

This just confirms my theory that even before they finished the core ME2 game they had a clear plan for the DLCs.
i believe that DLCs will link into ME3 in a big way.
i'm actually looking forward to the ME3 DLCs
as against DAO which lost its focus after a few DLCs

I'm not super opposed to most of the things Cerverus does in ME2 (Though I still oppose a number of the things they do / want me to do- granted they allow me to do my own thing), but the things they did in ME1- I honestly don't think there's any way I'd have joined Cerberus under any condition after that. I would've made a straight line to the citadel instead and told them what's up.
I'm with you. I love how Bioware has given us all of these choices...totally feel like either a hero or a complete badass. I've completed ME 2 a number of times now, and only one time did I actually give the Collector base to the Illusive Man just to see what my squadmates would say. Given the majority of their reactions, including Miranda's, (who'd been with them for probably ten or fifteen years), it was foolhardy. The first time I played, I had the "Alliance prejudgment" mentality, and was totally opposed to anything the Illusive Man said or did. Then I thought about it for a while. Not every single thing the IM did was horrible, just misguided. He's got to answer to financial investors, and though that may seem unimportant, if all of his financial support gets yanked out from underneath him, he's screwed. That's what my Shepard did during the first time I played (didn't destroy the base). So I'm probably going to pay for it since that was a major sin against Cerberus. As Samara says, "the easiest path to walk does not necessarily make it the right one".

I'm not going to call it a step backwards, but like LotSB which I loved there was a very specific gripe I had regarding the value for the price. I thought that was a bit overpriced, and this was definitely overpriced.
Like others, here's my impression.
CONS:
1: The solo aspect did not improve the flow or add to the value to the experience.
2: The flow of enemies was inconsistent and also hurt the flow. What it did provide was not quite varied enough.
3: The prison could have been significantly darker and had even more atmosphere.
4: Very little variety in enemy types and in groupings. I was expecting more batarian faces or a new helmet.
5: The stealth aspects were a little too simple, and there wasn't really an option to covertly take out some enemies with traps.
6: The DLC was much shorter than I was expecting.
7: The DLC was basically an extended N7 mission which is what I wanted from the N7 missions to begin with, not an extra DLC..
8: The twists were not very deep. I was expecting more twists from Arrival than Overlord, but it didn't deliver.
PROS:
1: The dialogue was as tight as it ever was
2: Lance voicing Hackett again was welcome and rewarding.
3: The implications of the ending provide some interestng options for the opening of ME3.
4: Forcing you to complete the mission from start to finish was a good call. Wouldn't make much sense otherwise.
5: The glass-bubble interior hallways worked well, but them mission itself didn't lend to sightseeing.
6: An exterior battle, which is always welcome.
Conclusion:
This has one of the better premises of any of the ME2 DLC's thus far, but it was very light on the execution. The ending had a potential to be very heavy but lost much of its punch when you can go right back into playing if you still have open missions to complete. The pace is too slow in the beginning, picks up and then drags on a bit too long. The finish doesn't necessarily match up with the amount of time that was remaining and there should have been more consistent focus on the timer especialy given the gravity behind the consequences of failure. I felt like I finished with plenty of extra time remaining, too much for what happened to happen.
Grade: B
It's better than any of the N7 missions which is what it ultimately feels like, but lacks the depth of Overlord and Lair of the Shadow Broker. It presents some interesting food for though about ME3, but it was not a very satisfying conclusion to ME2.

But what I want to see next for a DLC, is something we left off in Mass Effect 1, which was the "Bring Down the Sky" DLC. I let that Batarian bastard get away because I thought I would see him again in Mass Effect 2, but no there is no sign of him.

Is it just me or did Admiral Hackett look like Zaeed's twin brother?
It's not just you. He did look awfully like Zaeed. And that chick looked a lot like miss Chambers..with plastic surgery gone wrong

I thinks it is Zaeed's Face with different eyes and put a hat on him. They reused a lot of animations and characters in this DLC.
I still really liked it, but I think some more effort could have been put in.
I like how the Doc had Jack's wakening animation when straped into the chair.

and would almost say What's the point of doing it?
this clearly isn't LotSB
it has no surprises at all , to me it was al to obvious when coming to the end
by no means a bad DLC but imho a step back from the ShadowBroker DLC
i had high hopes for this but sadly it did not deliver

Well, count me in as someone on the Moon, then, if you call Japan the Moon
Still getting the same old "There are no items for purchase" error message that I mentioned in this thread, even though the Arrival DLC is clearly there on the Cerebrus Network screen. Seriously, if it's not available in Japan, why even let it appear on the screen?

I wish I lived on the moon lol Save me from this pointless madness...But no,I'm living in Asia,a region where Bioware doesn't pay much attention to.For your information, this is not the first DLC delay they've done.Latest DA:O DLC like Witch Hunt,Golem Of Amgarrak, etc were only available on Asia PSN only 3/4 weeks after the actual release date. And guess what?We only got our hands on the demo of Dragon Age 2 after the actual game was released..wickedwizzard01 wrote...

well this sux then .....but imo Arrival isn't all that great i had expected more of it especially storywise it's wafer thin
and holds no surprises what so ever, the outcome of Arrival is way too obvious just put one and one together and you will know what the end of arrival will be, so it's a step back from the brilliant LotSB
but then again they have put the bar for DLC very high with LotSB
i guess it will be very hard to reach that kind of quality again
it's not a bad DLC just not what i had hoped for
but this is just my opinion on this one.
