I just downloaded arrival, and the moment i began the mission all voices became unclear and fuzzy. I tried again on other accounts and ALL voices had the same problem. Could someone please tell me why this has happened and how to stop it because i don't want to play my favourite game with bad audio quality.
Just to let you know all sound effects are fine, it's just voices which have bad audio quality.

Similar problems, it's that the sound is muffled so it sounds like your fighting in a different environment, pretty much the reason why I turned it off a minute ago.

I don't get any dialogue or sound effect sound at all.

Yeah, that happened to me as well. However that happened yesterday (before I downloaded the DLC).

also had this problem
I then went to the Shadowbroker base, had horrible audio, made a save, quit the game, started again and loaded that save. This seemed to fix the audio mostly until the later scene outside (in Arrival), which again suffered from muddled audio until you're (very mild spoiler)..................... on the shuttle to Project Rho.

Arrival glitches the **** out of mass effect - some dialog cuts off randomly at cut scenes, when you go for cover and pop out to shoot the animation points at the wrong direction completely - yet you're still able to shoot the NPC.....also when crouching and not even touching the control the character will move by himself..very buggy

Anyone else having trouble getting started with playing after downloading The Arrival? Every game save on every career I have saved will no longer load because, according to an error message " Downloadable content is missing", either The Arrival, Overlord, or Lair of the Shadow Broker or any combination of the three. Have tried deleting and reinstalling all pieces of DLC without any resolution, was hoping someone might shed some light on this mystery.

Have you tried clearing the system cache also?
Also, there might be a work-around for some consoles where you do no use the update when prompted, upon restarting the game; after clearing the cache.

I've cleared the cache, deleted the DLC that was supposedly missing, and am now patiently downloading the missing content again to see if that has made any difference.

When you fire up the game after redownloading try no updating with the patch.
There are two other users that were able to play Arrival by not updating with the patch: http://social.biowar...6830455#6849742
Good luck.
