and characters like Lorik Qui'in, General Septimus and Expat are often overlooked. I could list just about the whole cast but it wouldn't be particularly useful XD

Of squad mates has to be Wrex for being such a bad guy at time like when he kills fist (funny and unexpected and i know im weird for finding that funny)

overall for just for being such a good bad guy it was Saren he was such a good figure head for the enemy in the series so far he was the Darth Vader of the mass effect series so far alot better than harbringer and just beats sovereign on evilness

I have a feeling harbringer or other new enemies will more than fill saren boots nicely in ME3

So many I like. Favorite squadmate: Wrex.

Other characters? People have already mentioned Kirrahe and Shiala. Both are brilliant.

I'd also like to mention that volus in Flux with his weird hand gesture. I don't know why I find that scene so amusing.

Garrus+Wrex=Complete Badass squad

Excluding Shepard.

1. Wrex - Because he's is an awesome character with a surprising amount of depth for a brute.
2. Capt. Anderson - His journey back to his spine is an interesting one to watch.
3. Saren - His transformation from "Obviously Evil" to tragic figure was a very nice twist.
4. Turian Councilor - I love to hate this guy, and he has such killer lines.
5. Liara - Her transformation from innocent archeologist to more morally grey territory is subtle but present in ME1 if you bring her with you everywhere. 

Liara and Wrex are my favorite squaddies.

This comes up from time to time and I always have a hard time deciding...
But taking away all the affection I've developed for my Squad...I'd have to say my favorite Character is Saren.
I think he makes a great Villian who has some moments that make you feel sorry for him.

I can't decide between Ashley and Wrex.

Garrus and Tali, likewise, who occupy the number 2 spot, I can't decide between them either.
