Meh, I somehow ended up with the codes for the stuff last time around and I'm sure it won't be too hard to get them again. The main question is whether there is any point? I used the recon hood once I think (just can't play without seeing my Shep's face), but other than that the Dr Pepper DLC was hardly worth getting worked up about.

Wonderful, now I'm going to have do a lot of crap just to get this. They should stop adding DLC with Dr. Pepper it's stupid and not everyone can get it so easily.

James Sanders will be DLC squadmate and you will be able to get him only if you make over 9000 posts on twitter or facebook. Otherwise you will be able to buy it for 10 bucks. Wont be available in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and South America. Problem?

Bioware loses my respect more and more. I am surprised that there is still some left.

I wonder if Chris got lost when he went to track down whether this is true or not. I'm betting it is, but they told him to keep it quiet because they don't want to "officially" announce it yet. I think Dr. Pepper already let the cat out of is bag if that's the case, but I guess they want to stick to the plan. So, shhhhhhhhh! We'll just pretend we didn't see anything.

Last time Taco Bell was in on the promo with codes on the large size cups so a lot of people I know ended up getting large cups of water for theirs.

Once I drink enough to get my fiance and I our dlc, I'm up for some above and beyond the cause drinking to help folks out.

No, because there isn't just one company that owns the trademark for the entire world.  The company running the promotion in fact doesn't have the rights for most of the globe.

Bioware didnt seem to listen to their international fans the first time this happened - who were left out by this 'promo' in case you didnt know - and never made the items available again (except for a ps3 exclusive pack - wow, how useful) so it goes to show how much they value their fans.
I think the idea of promo items like this and 'pre-order exclusives' are just LAME. Honestly, is the brain storming session for these items a bit like this:
"Hey i got a cool idea!"
"what is it"?
"Lets make items for the game that not everyone gets!"
"um..."
"yeah!, and we'll totally disregard their availability in certain regions"
"um.."
"no wait! im not done! - then we will re-release it on a console for everybody!"
"oh that sounds better"
"no no, heres the kicker - the console we DO release it for, will be one that no one could possibly have bought the game for when we release this stuff initially! Its brilliant right?!!!"
"um.. are you on crack?"
"dont be like that - who cares about those stupid foriegners and collectors - were getting paid here!"
"oh - then sweet!"

i had over 30 unused codes from the bottles i purchased before ME2 came out. i thought it was gonna so much grander. i threw them all away. i was upset that it took so long for the codes being usable at the redemption site. I was upset even more when Battlefield Bad Company 2 had its release and redemption.

This isnt going to be very good.

I'm hoping we ALL get the Sentry Visor, Umbra Visor, and Recon Hood in the vanilla game this time around. I want new sh*t from the Dr. Pepper promo. Maybe some heavy weapons or Armor, helmet toggle included of course.
