After playing Arrival on the PC version and loved it. My only concern is how big Arrival's DLC will play in ME3? At the very end, Shepard killed thousands and thousands of baterians, and now he has to answer for it. What if I don't download Arrival on my PS3 or 360 version?
I guess this question also includes LoTSB dlc affecting ME3. Can I not continue my romance with Liara if I didn't buy that expansion?, which I did on the PC, and came with ME2 on the PS3.
Regardless, heres food for thought. Even if Shepard has to answer for the destruction of the system and baterians. If all came to worse. Couldn't the fact him being a Spectre have any usefulness if the council were involved. I know they don't think the reapers are real, but come ME3, come on XD
Spectres can do what they want, at the cost of lives if needed.
How big will Arrival Affect Mass Effect 3? *Major Spoilers*

Not at all.
I mean, the implications of the events of Arrival clearly set the stage for ME3, but if you didn't play it you're still going to be in that same starting position.

Killing 300,000 people seems like a really big Pink Elephant to either have or not have in the room.

Arrival and LotSB will have happened regardless of whether or not you played it. Liara will still be the new SB, and 300,000 Batarians will still have died. Think of it as the novels... Those happened even if you didn't read them.

Prediction: If you played Arrival ME3 will start in court and Shepard will be sent to prison for killing all those batarians. If you haven't played Arrival ME3 will start in court and Shepard will be sent to prison for working with Cerberus.

Shepard said he would only stand trial once his mission was over, not before. I would really like to see the Alliance try and drag him in when he has the most advanced warship out there at the time.

Hm, shouldn't Reapers arrive a few months sooner if you didn't play arrival ?

The implication is, whether you played Arrival or not, it still happened. Shepard was still there doing all that according to ME2 whether you personally played it or not.

I don't know if Bioware allows you to pay 6 dollars to change the storyline. Seems reasonable but yet it can just be another cliff hanger.....

In theory, they should arrive within a few days if you didn't play "Arrival". From playing Arrival, you postpone their arrival by a while.
