You think I'm trying to be racist because I compared Jacob's nasty, frightening attitude when you break up with his character in-game to that of a celebrity whose sole claim to fame is beating the hell out of Rihanna? That's... no, seriously, how in the hell is that racist? Do you think it's racist simply because those two coincidentally happen to be black? The only other celebrity I can think of when I think of the term "domestic violence" is Charlie Sheen, and if you're seriously going to insinuate that I should re-write my post and compare Jacob to him, or any other celebrity, simply because Sheen or anyone else is white, then how in the hell are you not being racist?

No, I seriously don't understand why you would think that; by your logic you could interpret any statement as racist. It makes no sense.

Let me state it again:

Jacob has never given the indication that  he would use physical violence against Shepard, though, leaving the only links between Jacob and Chris Brown their sex and skin color.

Chris Brown's claim to fame is not his abuse of Rihanna.  That's his claim to infamy.  He was famous before he beat her, famous for singing and dancing.

Ugh. You know what? I'm not even going to bother. I don't have to apologize to you for offending your poor precious sensibilities nor will I allow you to try to dictate what I can and cannot write in my posts. You can continue your stupid little flamewar with someone else.

Yeah, I
hated most of the crew...

Me too[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sideways.png[/smilie]  Had
to shorten my list to 5 tho.

I agree completely about Thane.  In
fact, I'd say that's the best description of him I've ever seen.

I'm surprised there are other people on here that agree with me about this. I was expecting a ****fight to start about what I had to say about Thane, honestly. I stand by what I said, though. Thane is a whiny, pathetic emo ****.

Love:
Tali - That voice and personality are really attractive.
Garrus - That voice and personality are really attractive.
Liara - That voice, colour and personality are really attractive.
Ken&Gabby - They are so funny to listen to. Also, I love the scottish accent.
Morinth - How can you not love ms. Death-by-sex? You will never wake up next to her thinking "What happened last night!?"

Hate:
Jacob - He sounds like a ****.
Kaidan - He looks and sounds like a ****. (I'd say that Jacob looks like a ****, but that might get me in trouble with all the "Oooh, I'm so touchy about skin colours, you can't say that black is darker than white." people.)
Harkin - A stupid drunk who thinks only half a step ahead. I could have done better.
Dr. Heart (the guy who grew things inside people) - He grew things inside people. Eww.
Maelan (Mordin's student) - He was a bit insane, wasn't he? Didn't like him though. But I support a cure for genophage. Just not... his cure. Wouldn't trust him to do it right. Might just make it worse.

@Dragon XIX, what I said is pretty much all Udina does in ME1. He uses Shepard to protect human colonies, and when the council agrees, he no longer needs Shepard, so he doesn't bother listening to her anymore. "Now you're more trouble than you're worth", he said. I'm not saying he's poorly written or anything, it's his in-game personality and behavior what I don't like.

Pretend that the text above is what you had there before you edited it, about me not seeing the warning signs of Jacob's impending abuse of female Shepard.

You seem all too ready to interpret Jacob as violent and abusive.  We have two separate readings of his character.  While I see him as justifiably and reasonably upset over a woman who had to take the lead to even get him into a relationship leaving him for a member of another species, your reading seems to be thus: anger + black man = physical abuse.  Do recall that Jacob is a stable person.  That's how Liara describes him in LotSB.  He is in control of his emotions and determined to deal with issues on his own.  You could read some repression in there, if you like.  But I do not see indications for physical violence.

I'm not trying to censor you, but I will call you out for racism if that's what I see in your posts.  Comparing Jacob getting upset at female Shepard leaving him for an alien to Chris Brown beating Rihanna is racist and inaccurate.

Aaah! Don't hit me Chris Brown!  :crying:
