i think it was too short.. for the hype..
also it felt sloppy...i guess they rushed with this dlc...
Some how the DLC LOTSB felt way better

The Dlc was super Short...and very Linear no choices

The DLC worries more fans of the popular Game....many people belive that Mass Effect 3 could loose all of its Rpg Elements,To help boost sales and also bring in more gamers to the Franchise...

Also If The End Of Arrival Made You say WTF!!! post Your Complaints here

It did leave me wanting more I will say that.  Though that can be good or bad depending on how you interpret.

It was always going to be short, all BioWare DLC is. Expecting anything longer than an hour is a self made mistake.

I don't recall it being hyped up that much, then again I avoided the Mass Effect section of this site for the past week or so since spoilers of the DLC seemed to leak out.

Too short! The whole game was too short because of it's epicness and now we need to wait another 10 months for the ME3.

But the hype for once didn´t dissapoint , and does give me a sense I want more .

Bleh like Ninva says another half a year atleast or more to wait for .

Better than Overlord, not as good as Shadow Broker though. Enjoyed it fully, wish it lasted longer. Now the only thing to wait for is Mass Effect 3. Although there are still a couple of games left until then for me: Witcher 2, Fable 3 (PC, yes), Portal II, Alice: Madness Returns, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Batman: Arkham City. If things go well I'll probably get a monthly fix before ME 3. I'll be hibernating on these forums until then. Well... except if BioWare or some mod group puts out a Dargon Age II locale update/patch or something.

The more I think about it the more I dislike it.
Barely any voice acting at all, they FORCE you to kill all those people and then pretty much force you to go on trial. Where are the choices? Where's the roleplaying?

Why don't you have a squad? It's not like you were actually stealthing, I went in guns blazing. Worst DLC for ME2 by far, it felt like one of those missions you scan down only slightly longer.

This DLC edges out Overlord but not quite the Shadow Broker DLC. Good effort overall.

Well... you DO have the ability to choose NOT to smash the relay into the system.

The timer DOES run out. And then, everyone dies.

I must be the only one that went through and actually tried to 100% search the Project base and the solar system, and did every single dialog option where possible.  My playthrough on Vet took 1 hour and 47 minutes.  That is almost as long as Overlord took me to complete (that was over 2 hours on the same difficulty).

Oh no, the 7$ DLC wasn't five hours long. Oh wait, what?

Took me just over two hours with my Vanguard on Insanity and I actually died a lot, since I had to get accustomed to ME2 again. So yeah, it was kinda short and yeah, it was one straight line from start to finish.

Still got the adrenaline pumping though, was fun working without squad powers. Even though there is not really a choice to be made there was still some emotional attachment because of the result of your actions. Nicely done, I'd say.

One thing was annoying though, some of the dudes on the elevators got stuck next to the elevator when you attacked them while the platform was still moving up. I missed one and thus the wave dot not trigger the end of the mission part. Noticed the dude after a while though and some shotty love to the top of his head fixed that :)

cons:
-the lack of a real final boss since Bioware had been experimenting with bosses at the end of Kasumi, Overlord, and LOTSB
-i was also expecting another vehicle section much like Overlord and LOTSB had but it's not a biggie
-i also expected more mechs in the research base, the part where you control the mech is pretty damn cool but that's the only time you fight mechs, that and i found it weird that the mercs on the base and the batarian mercs all looked exactly the same, just interchangeable voices

pros:
-level design was an interesting departure, they're definitely trying to make the game feel more complex especially since you're fighting alone, and i liked the look of the research base and the great vista at the end
-the conversation with harbinger reminded me of your conversation with sovereign which was a nice touch i thought
-and i liked how they setup the 3rd game to be more about Shepard
-the music was a nice return to the blade runner vibes we got from ME1
-for those that wanted them - a return of elevators (that don't suck)

Storywise, better than Overlord. Gameplay-wise, I preferr Overlord to it. There, I said it!

You have to understand that this is pretty much made to be an epilogue, not an expansion. Though you can play this pre-SM I think it fits perfectly well as a post-game DLC that ties a neat knot to ME2, setting it up for the sequel. The DLC itself was great, though I too agree that it could have potentially been longer which it unfortunately was not. But I wasn't expecting something gigantic anyhow. Anyhow, worth my cash in the end and it really got me pumped for ME3 and the fact that there's this certain inevitability of all your actions.

It was of a decent length imo, about 1hr30m - 2hrs depending on how you play it.

Were people holding out for this to be... an expansion's worth in length... or something?

Too short, but still fun. It felt like a pilot episode, to be honest--only briefly touched on the important stuff and was pretty rough around the edges--but the implications and hints it dropped are most intriguing.

Had it been without Hackett, it would have been a major disappointment. It still falls short of what a "final bridging DLC" should be, but finally meeting that awesome admiral in person and getting a taste of what's to come made it worth five of those seven dollars I spent on it. As for the other two dollars, well, let's call it a tip.

I agree that it was short but very enjoyable. I did not expect it to be long anyway since it only cost 560 points/ $6.99.
