I agree it was short and the only reason I have a problem with that is because I want more mass effect haha. It felt like an action movie to me and i didnt mind the lack of choice because it was truly to set up for ME3 that's the purpose of this DLC and it accomplished it perfectly for me.

Short, but sweet. In my opinion it was worth the price of admission.

I got what I wanted, which was just more ME2 content. I do agree it was too short though, and it does it's job at setting the game up for ME3.

Waste of money. On the positive side, I can finally uninstall ME2.

Barely any voice acting at all, they FORCE you to kill all those people and then pretty much force you to go on trial. Where are the choices? Where's the roleplaying?

Why don't you have a squad? It's not like you were actually stealthing, I went in guns blazing. Worst DLC for ME2 by far, it felt like one of those missions you scan down only slightly longer.

i agree with this guy, it's short, predictable, dull, and doesn't seem to serve any real narritive purpose other than to be me3's preface. it really does feel like an overly long side mission, disappointing to say the least. but hey, it's better
than firewalker, for what thats worth.

and one more thing, the mu relay survived a star going nova and all that happened to it was it got knocked out of place, this one gets wrecked by having a giant rock with engines strapped to it ram it...what??

I really enjoyed this, actually.  Pretty gritty and rather difficult on higher levels, and it really got me thinking about ME3.  Well done for such a (relatively) cheap price; map packs are generally 800M$ points and they're generally smaller, less interesting and don't include story ;)

It was far too short. I beat it in 50 minutes, and I was left with about a 2 dozen questions, one plot hole, and feeling unfulfilled. It should not have been a DLC, but rather a legitimate expansion.

I have no idea why this is not the case.

I must be the only one that went through and actually tried to 100% search the Project base and the solar system, and did every single dialog option where possible.  My playthrough on Vet took 1 hour and 47 minutes.  That is almost as long as Overlord took me to complete (that was over 2 hours on the same difficulty).

I did that too and it cost me my covert action achievement on my first run. Is it possible to thoroughly search the prison without alerting anyone?

The DLC is short, shorter than Overlord. I think the pace is a little too quick. However the gameplay was a nice change. I realized the build I use for my infiltrator really doesn't work when I'm by myself. Controlling the mech was cool too! What if they turned AI hacking into that in the future? That would be neat.

What plot hole are you talking about?

The one where your squad apparently doesn't give a damn if you're gone for two days without checking in, or in a station with an exposed Reaper artifact. I have a list of questions I can repost if you want.

Too short?  You need more than just length to improve this DLC.  I think Arrival is medicore at best.

I was kinda disapointed by the ending but i think it was all worth it just meet Admiral Hackett in person.  The obvious point of this DLC was, like LotSB, to set things up for ME3 and possibly beyond.

My only major complaint is the lack of voice acting from Joker, especially when Shepard is evacuating to the Normandy and is taking directly to him.  They really couldn't get Seth Green to say ONE measly line?  COME ON!

You have to understand that this is pretty much made to be an epilogue, not an expansion. Though you can play this pre-SM I think it fits perfectly well as a post-game DLC that ties a neat knot to ME2, setting it up for the sequel. The DLC itself was great, though I too agree that it could have potentially been longer which it unfortunately was not. But I wasn't expecting something gigantic anyhow. Anyhow, worth my cash in the end and it really got me pumped for ME3 and the fact that there's this certain inevitability of all your actions.

It was of a decent length imo, about 1hr30m - 2hrs depending on how you play it.

It took me 50 minutes to complete. It wasn't nearly as long or interesting as LotSB or Overlord. Why?

Because nothing Arrived. It would've been better had the Reapers arrived, and  instead of the alpha relay you had to destroy the one  it leads to (the one you took to get to the system), which would leave the batarians to their deaths at the hands of the Reapers. See, I just thought of that in less than five minutes. Why couldn't Bioware?

This DLC is actually rather pointless. It's basically an extremely shortened ME1, in that you slow down the Reapers, but they're still coming. Having them actually Arrive in a DLC called Arrival would've been brilliant. But this is Bioware DLC.
