Overlord took the longest.
edit: Shadowbroker only looks bigger because you had to download a lot of CG cutscenes for it, and the base.

You mean setting up the circumstances that everyone who ever played the games at all knew were going to happen? Please.ErebUs890 wrote...
I got what I wanted, which was just more ME2 content. I do agree it was too short though, and it does it's job at setting the game up for ME3.

It was longer? It took me over an hour to beat LotSB, but only 50 minutes to beat Arrival. Explain to me how 50 minutes is longer than 70 minutes. And yes, you arrive in the local cluster because they say you are going to Arcturus station. But you don't need to be a jerk about it.Pwener2313 wrote...
OP is either trolling..... or a moron. It was longer then LOTSB and your in the local cluster because Hackett is in that Cluster, in Arcturus. What a moron....
I paid 560 points for barely 50 minutes of play time. 560 points is what, $7? So if ME3 is, say, 30 hours long, that would be... a $210 game. F**K THAT. We are not paying for what we get, we're paying what Bioware/EA wants us to. I'm not saying I got ripped off, but I did expect this DLC to be at least 70 minutes long, what with the whole "bridging ME2 and 3" thing it had going on.gorrillasnake wrote...

it's not the size that matters, it's the quality... when will you learn that?
Arrival was awesome.
Not even that. ME3 has been in aplayable state since Christmas of 2010. Which really worries me after seeing how rushed and relatively low-quality Arrival was compared to Overlord and Lair of the Shadowbroker. This DLC could've been pushed back to August if it meant a really good 8 hour expansion for $20. As it stands, it is barely worth $7.Bluko wrote...
Yeah this DLC seems extremely short. It's at best about an hour long, maybe an hour and a half if you really take your time.
What was all this talk about 5 missions? There's only 2 or 3 as far I can tell. Am I missing something? Is it radically different if you play Pre-SM? Although from what I've been told only difference is you get the Collector General instead of Harbinger at the end.
I dunno this DLC is kind of underwhelming. Yeah it's cool you actually get to talk to Hackett and Harbinger, but that seems to be the only high point of this DLC. Well the combat is pretty intensive, but it doesn't bring anything new to the table other then slightly better level design. Enemies are basically the same-old stuff we've fought before in every other mission. There's also barely any difference between the Batarians and the Project Guards, which just kind of strikes me as lazy. Other then the breif section of taking control of the LOKI mech there isn't much new here.
Also add to that there are no new weapons or anything. There are also no Bosses, and the all of the dialogue is pretty breif as well. You basically have Shepard, Hackett, Kenson, and Harbinger as actual voiced characters.
I gotta be honest my intial reaction is that this just isn't up to par even with Overlord, much less LotSB. At least Overlord did a few new things with vehicle combat and had a fair amount of gameplay. Honestly this DLC is more akin to Kasumi in mission structure. But at least Kasumi gave you a new character and weapon for your troubles.
Basically you're paying $7 for an hour long mission.
It's not bad, but I really expected more. Especially considering this was suppose to the "epic" bridge DLC to ME3. Also I gotta say playing this Pre-SM feels like it would ruin the whole plot of the Collectors and what they were trying to do. I really get the feeling that this DLC was a rush job and was released solely to coincide with the comics, and less to actually provide extra content to the game. I thought releasing this in March sounded to good to be true. Honestly I think this DLC would have befitted from being pushed back til say June or something if it meant there was another level or two included.
This worries me that ME3 is going to be a rushed out this Fall now.
I see what you mean. I would;ve liked this DLC to be better too. WTF is up with EA rushing Bioware? I don't think they understand the fact that quality sells.gorrillasnake wrote...
i didnt mean it like that, l mean, I payed like 10 bucks for Lotsb and it was a good deal and i felt like bioware Rushed this DLC...to make fans happy. i dont think they were really aiming to bridge the gap.
7bucks wasnt that bad but..i was dissapointed at the end...though..if there was more content no matter the cost ill be happy... like a reuion with VS (ashley) would of been nice you know?StowyMcStowstow wrote...

I know what you mean if you look at ME2 it had only slightly higher sales than ME1 so it's not like EA made a huge difference. I honestly don't get why BioWare joined EA?gorrillasnake wrote...

Took me 3.5 hrs to beat on insanity difficulty (about 2.5 hrs on my 2nd playthrough) ... considering the cost, that's a damn good value in my books. I'd be hard pressed to spend 5 bucks and get that much solid entertainment anywhere else.
I was also pleased with the content & combat of the DLC, so I personally feel the whole package was a great deal... not as a great as LoTSB, sure, but it was also less expensive than that DLC.
