I'm trying to get the Object Rho Achievement and I'm having trouble surviving the 5 waves.

Anything I should I know that would help me make it through.

Using Revenant, Geth Shotty, Incisor, M5, and CPB.

Get holed up behind an white, L shaped cover on the left side of the big window, behind the glass barrier. It will protect you from all sides, that was how I survived first time. Enemy appear quite far away from there though, so wait till they get close rather than taking pot shots to preserve ammo.

I've just been Spamming the CPB. Its getting annoying with my hands shaking like **** now and making me do stuff I dont want like AR when I want a heal to stay alive.

Also doing this on Casual with a Soldier and for some reason they leave me wide open and the AI just seems to wait for that one mistake where I get stuck to swarm me

Hmm, I took cover on the right side of the platform and sniped the incoming waves with the Viper, occaisonally pulling out the revenant for the mechs and those trying to flank me on the right. Used AR a lot and Barrier once. At the end I had to use the heavy pistol for the last wave.

Finally made it with CSB spam for the first 4 waves and the Revenant and Geth Shotty on clean up. The heavy mech was the only part that made this hard with it beelining me.

Be mobile! Do not stay in one cover spot for too long - you'll get overwhelmed. Pay attention to Pyros, they are dangerous with their flame that stuns.

Kronner. I found a decent spot to the right of where you start where you can just tear them up with the CPB and keep most of the Pyros and Elites from turning into threats.

I will go ahead and admit this wont be easy for Soldiers to so without extra protection.

I survived five waves almost died and then it acted like I died while I was still shooting, with full shields and went to cut screen. At which point I decided I just didnt care about the achievement because the game glitched

I lost in the last wave because the heavy mech exploded in my face and all the mooks were there to make me pay.

Pity, but at first I wasn't even sure of what was my real objective (the energy bar was confusing me, I though it was a bad thing) I'll try again with my infiltrator, the Widow will make them PAY.

You get KO'd after the 5 waves so its a moot point to keep going for it after doing it once. No real change in the storyline

Beat it on HArdcore with my Sent, and this is where their defense abilitys really shine. I just bunkered down behind Object Rho and picked the enemies of 1 at a time. I did not have to move at all until the MECH came out.

I just recorded a video of that part on insanity. Not really my best runs, that part is quite hard. Didn't quite have the testicular fortitude to use my widow rifle with so many enemies shooting. Having the arc projector is GODSEND in that mission. Unfortunately my connection is slow at it will still take an hour or so to upload

i used that cover on the left and spammed the blackstorm for all the waves it works really well

Soldier, insanity, no heavy weps.

At the start, take out the 2 guys from the initial position. Then move slightly to the right to the corner of the Rho box, take cover there. Every single enemy will come at you by moving counterclockwise around Rho, you will not be flanked. Kill mooks until heavy mech shows up. Kill as many mooks as possible until YMIR starts to get to flanking position, then retreat to the lab part on the side of the room. Clean up remaining mooks while avoiding LOS on mech. Kill mech by kiting around cover.

this dlc got me po bad i got killed it i killed the Batarians not meet to i got seen so manny time at the one place 

They couldn't hire Seth Green for one line  come on bioware get it togever this dlc SUCKED I HATE IT WAST OF MONEY I HAVE TO MAKE A NEW GAME TO GET THE OUTHER Achievements  BECAUSE BIOWARE WOULD NOT LET OU BRING THE ONE I NEE FOR THEM I GOOD AT THE GAME I KNOW IT I GOT EVER ONE LOYAL TO ME ALL UPGRADES BIOWARE MESS UP ON IT [/b]

I completed it on Insanity with my infiltrator, switching to the Widow while cloaked to take down the mech


Has anyone got the "Covert Action" achievment?  I reached the doctor without attracting anyone's attention except for the varren, but no dice?

Yeah, worked for me. I basically ran towards Dr. Kenson, ignoring all enemies (except for Varrens), and then I saw the pop-up saying I got Covert Action achievement. It's hardly an achievement lol

Got it done on hardcore with my Vanguard. Charge really saved my ass several times. Those flamethrower guys are biggest threat, that's what killed my first playthrough with Soldier.
Mech is easy, just run it around pillars.

camp in the closest left most corner and let them come to you. kill by target priority, only kill the "foot soldiers" when they dont have flamethrower or mech support. dont kill them long distance obviously because you want to grab whatever they drop
