I'm at the campsite and I take to the guy and agree to go to Soldiers Peak and he walks away, but when the cutscene ends he still has an exclmation mark over his head and asks if I will accept the offer. How can I make it so I recieve the quest?

Did the quest update in your journal, under premium content?

If not, do you have any mods installed?

Hmmmm... at any point did either of you get a message saying the DLC was not authorized?  Usually it gives you an option to "force load" a saved game.

Some people have reported that quitting the game, deleting the profile.dap file, and then restarting the game can fix similar errors.  It's located in My Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age > Settings.  It might be safer to actually just rename the file to something like profile.backup, so you can replace it if there's an error.  I think the profile.dap file syncs with the online social network, so if you've been having any connection issues, may want to skip this one.

It is possible the DLC itself might have been corrupted.  You can try to manually install the DLC again.  There's a guide on the Dragon Age Wiki at:

http://dragonage.wik...al_installation

Note you'll have to install both the DLC itself and its associated "offer" file.

I got that message at the beginning of the game but I fixed the downloadable content by replacing the the 1's with 0's in settings. It still says I don't even have the registered content, but I do. Since this is so, I cannot locate the content on my computer therefore cannot try one of your options. I tried renaming the setup to a .backup file but that didn't work. Any other ideas?

If you're using the correct login account and not seeing your DLC on this page:

http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php

... you should probably contact EA directly at support.ea.com.

EDIT:  What is your operating system?

Still say that "fix" is bogus. Think about it, what are you fixing by changing a 1 to a 0? All you're doing is ignoring the game's warning and forcing it to run by telling it that the module doesn't require authorisation when it obviously does. It does run now that you've fed it bad input and now you've run into a deeper hole. Personally I'd reverse that "fix" and actually find the issue and resolve it.

I am operating on Windows 7. Well honestly about the fix I don't see another option. It did not give me my content when I put the promo code in and I can't again so I don't really see another option. That's probably the issue thats causing this bug. That being the case, I'm back to square one. How can I fix this because I put in the promo code and my content doesn't show up.

Have you contacted EA support? If there's a problem with your account (which seems to be what you're saying) then they'll have to deal with it. We're just gamers like you in this forum.

EA said that they couldn't help me with this issue as its a game playing issue. I plan to ask them about my account and the missing content. Thanks for the tip.
