NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer was quite a nice story...  Perhaps the best expansion to a cRPG ever?

I'll go with you on that, Awakenings didn't decide to do any dramatic (unasked for) changes to the style of gameplay. It just delivered more of what I liked.
