Hello,
Just beat ME2...bought $40 worth of new content. Tried switching careers just for fun to see what it would do while downloading...switched careers and all my save games are gone...only option is to start a new game.
Anyway to get these back? Or am I completely f'd in the a?
Thanks.

Sounds like a something I've heard that confuses a lot of people; I'm thinking that if you just switch back to the other careers they will all be there. Whatever was the previously loaded career is the only one that will list games so if you switch back you should be fine.

Careers designate a specific character's game.
If you have only one character then switching careers would mean there is no other character's career to switch to. Press 'Y' when you go to load a game, or choose a game to load, and your saves should be there. If not, then something very suspicious has occurred.

There's no option to switch back to my other careers or to switch careers at all - at the load screen or any other screen that I've checked, and I've been looking everywhere. Any other ideas?

Can you start a new game from an import? There is a hidden file that is made and you can import an ME1 or ME2 Shep for a new game.
I'm not sure what could have happened with you saves unless they were moved, deleted or corrupted. But there are some things you can try.
You can check you HD to see if the saves appear in the HD. I can give detailed steps to find it.
I've recently been figuring that some consoles and Xbox Live are not agreeing with each other with running DLC. But you could also be facing an HD issue, and I hope it's not the case for you.
Lastly, I'd like to ask if more than one console or Gamertag has been used to play ME2 with DLC content. There could be an Xbox goof with the license access and Gamertags. So you can at least check this site to find out to which console(s) your DLC content is connected to: http://www.xbox.com/...eMigration/Home

- So if you have not tried yet you could clear the cache: http://support.xbox....stem-cache.aspx
- And when starting ME2 again try not updating to see if there is a difference, doing so seems to have helped others: http://social.biowar...6830455#6849742
