I had my hard drive crash and recently reinstalled ME2. Is there a way to use my old save, or do I have to start over? I've tried googling, but perhaps my google-fu is weak.

Eh, copy them in to the save folder if you still have copies of them? Documents\\Bioware\\Mass Effect 2\\
If you're asking if they got saved in a cloud somewhere that you can get such copies from, no, I'm afraid not.
Not even the DA games, which do have extensive links to this site, upload actual saves.

Worked just fine. I was going into the Program Files to find the save section and completely forgot where most games save to these days. Thanks!
