I've successfully installed the game and completed the release date check, but cannot continue past the EA Games Activation screen. Everytime I enter my logon details, I consistently get the "Please check your internet connection...etc" error. I have checked my 'host' file and the activation server url is not blocked, and successfuly pings. Google search is providing similar issues, but no solutions, although there was mention that it could be a java problem, but still no solution.
My game is the non-steam physical disc regular edition. I am behind a proxy however I have a workaround which works with every other game I have including Steam. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone can help me out with the activation.
Also, before anyone asks: No, i cannot activate this game on a non-proxy internet connection due to where I am currently living/work conditions. There are none available.
