I'm sick & tired of "Old Tegrin" Road Spam - I'm getting sick of seeing this ****g dwarf. Anytime I think I'm going to enjoy a great battle, instead I get this dwarf called "old tegrin" over & over & over again.

How do I disable this?

It's getting very annoying now.

If it was up to me I would kill him and burn his wagon.

Seriously there has to be a way to disable him.

I already bought it he has nothing else I need.

I'm trying to trigger the event to kill these four shades.  I want to try and fight them again since they uttlery destroyed me the first time.

God i'm so pissed off. ****ing game.  Just when you think you've gotten good you'll get an encounter that just utterly destroys you.   ****ing game.

Was going to make the same topic, but thought I'd search first.

Seriously, there has to be some kind of trigger to get him to stop spawning, I tried buying anything that might be of importance from him hoping he'd leave me alone, but he still shows up....frequently.

I've gotten some interesting spawns on other characters, but then some characters just seem to only get Old Tegrin. It's maddening. Please add some way to get him to stop spawning.

HAHA! I have the exact opposite problem. I'd run into him every time I travelled on my first playthru. Then I had 3 playthrus where I NEVER saw him ONCE (never able to buy Leli shoes =( ) Then my most recent playthru I saw him twice.

I want to know how to get the AxCalibur random encounter. I got it ONCE on my third playthru - got the axe (which is AWESOME). I've never seen it again.

Just travel a lot to get random encounters. Maybe if you buy all of Tegrin's stock he will go away. Haven't tried this, because he doesn't show up very often for me.

indeed, i always shed a little tear in disappointment when he pops up. Every once in a while fine. If he had anything new or interesting to sell. Wich he hasn´t apart from one skillbook. But he tends to show up very often near the end of the game and it annoys me to bits. Especially if you meet him 2-3 times in a row :-//

Yeah he keeps popping up every now and then again in my games too. In all of them! I wouldn't mind him if his dang stock would at least get renewed each time.

Maybe there's someone out there who could make a mod and make that Useless Tegrin sell, say, all of the armor set pieces, considering that so many of them I never even get to find in the game. Sure I can get the Effort set and Juggernaut set and Legion of the Dead one.. But most others I'm always a piece or two short, no matter how many times I play. Some of the pieces aren't even in the game because of some bug.. Oh, and weapons too. Heck, I'd be much more happier to see Old Tegrin then each time I run into him.

Maybe somebody could make a mod where he has some cheap stuff for crafting and maybe arrows that get renewed. That would not imbalance the game and would make him a little useful. I don't think things like books should get renewed though or set pieces added.

He never shows up when I want him to, but insists on it when I don't need anything else from him. Definitely can be irritating..

There is a limit to the encounters in game which is why if youve been travelling a while, he tends to pop up more often. Someone wrote that once you get to see him a lot, there is a good chance you will get the Superman encounter.

I wouldn't mind if he had new items to sell after a time, especially after Orzammar.

I think he popped out more often when I was traveling that main road from Orzammar or Calenhad to Denerim.

He should be with the other outside dwarves, not a random encounter with a 25% chance of re-appearing.

Besides, if you don't run into him, you face the social calamity of running out of dandruff shampoo.
