Just finished the Arrival DLC, and noticed several irritating audio omissions:
The ambient ship noise aboard the Normandy has completely disappeared, leaving a hollow, empty sound when you walk around.
Sometimes when you access the Galaxy Map, the corresponding music will not play.
Also, the sound effect triggered by travelling through a Mass Relay seems to cut out frequently.
Some sound effects during missions (like opening Grunt's tank) also gone too.
These issues affect all gameplay, prior to and after playing the DLC
I hate to complain after such awesome DLC, but these bugs have created a pretty unnerving and distracting gameplay experience, and I'd REALLY appreciate it if they were to be fixed in a patch. To anyone at Bioware reading this, thanks for taking the time.

You might be experiencing audio cut out.
I did when I played through the SM after finishing Arrival and trying the SM, now that I think about it, I did reload the save before starting the SM and I did not turn off and then restart the console.
I figure it's another Xbox related hiccup.

I noticed the ambient audio cut-out issue after the DLC was over. Luckily it was with a Shepard that has already done everything else possible in the game so I just saved my game and didn't think too much about it.

I started a new game after finishing Arrival, and the audio cut outs remained in the new game (lots of missing explosions in the opening sequence of the game, no breathing sound as Shepard enters the blown-out deck, etc.) It looks like adding the DLC broke something.

Thanks for the replies folks... yeah this problem is just not going away.
The only work-around I can think of is deleting the Arrival DLC to see if that at least brings the audio back, and then re-downloading it when I'm ready to play it again.
A pain in the rear method, but one I'm willing to try. It's just dragging the whole experience down for me.

Removing the DLC fixed my sound issues.

Well, maybe not - the sound still sounds a little "echo-y"

Thanks for the heads up, will try this later. Instead of deleting and redownloading, going to try moving the DLC to a memory stick and then back again when I'm ready to do Arrival (I save the mission for very last anyway). Helluva timesaver.

I'm having this problem too. Was there ever a better solution than deleting the DLC altogether?

I don't believe anything else has been offered on the boards here.
