I know this is a small thing, but I am much too helpless with mod tools to do this for myself, and there's probably somebody out there who feels the same as I do. If anyone could make a little mod to fix Anders' facial hair color to match his actual hair as it did in Awakening, without changing his facial structure like all the other mods do, I'd really love that and would thank you profusely.

I can do this... what tint would you like his stubble?

*bounces happily in her chair* I mean, uh, I'm totally dignified here and not at all a dork. *lol*
Thank you, Sunnie! *hugs Ishy and Lilco* At last, Anders the natural way!

I completely support this, too. I love Anders' look, but the mismatched facial hair did bug me just the slightest.

So, heres what I have found.. no matter what tint I apply to Anders stubble, it stays the same shade of...brownish, unless I change it to white, then it actually changes it to white. I have a feeling the only way to get his hair and stubble to match is to change his hair color, that works as it should.

Gah! Damn you BioWare!

I think it's not that it isn't changing, it's just that a lot of the stubble colors are very similar to each other.

I took 6 shots in the same spot at the same moment and in the same lighting, then compared the colors in PS.. all the same. Only thing I can figure is theres a texture map thats locking it down...
I can go ahead and give you a mod with a lighter blonde tint specified and someone can try it..

Arrggh! Spankings for whichever Bioware employee did this. Spankings, I say!
Would it be easy enough to do one slightly lighter color, one slightly darker color, just to see how they look? Thanks so much for this!

I'm interested to see how this looks. Maybe you can post a screenshot?

Actually I just tried this and I saw a definite difference.

Change his skin color to very dark brown. Then match up the beard and hair colors. Then reset the skin color.
It is harder to appreciate the differences in haircolor in the character creator and ingame - especially if you have mods, but even in Vanilla with eyebrows and stubble - with light skin.

Thank you Anarya! His face doesn't look as mismatched now, definitely an improvement. =)

Thank you! The mod is awesome.
As much as I liked Anders' Awakening look, I definitely think his DA2 face suits him. I didn't want a mod to make him look different, I just wanted a mod to make the carpet match the curtains, as it were.
Thanks!

OMG, Anarya, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! *squeals and scrambles off to install it*
Your Lady Hawke is super-gorgeous, by the way. And I'm not just saying that because you've spoiled us so delightfully.
He looks so much more *Anders* this way; I can't get over it! Awesome, awesome, awesome. Amazing how much such a small detail like that can add. Woman, you rock!

YES. This is right up there with the "make Fenris eyebrows white" mod. These things bother me. Thank you Anarya!

I've been playing with the tints. I tried porting the correct shades for DAO but the color is washed out. This one matches his hair some.

Ugh, why?!?! He looks so cool with black eyebrows!
My mage (who's about to fight the ogre, once I finish my rogue playthrough) has light blond hair with black eyebrows... he's dreamy.
