Has anyone else been having severe problems trying to get any templar armor drops at all in acts I and II? I reloaded bodahn's wares for about 2 hours with no luck (having got the light helm there on a previous playthrough), and did the same with the shady merchant at the docks. . .
I'm currently re-loading ser varnell's refuge (apparently the locked chest has a chance of spawning random templar loot), and have been at it for 2 hours now. starting to get a little worried that I'll be here forever.
It just seems a little unfair that if you want to play as a templar rogue, you need to spend 6 hours re-loading your autosaves in order to role-play a bit more. . . I'm really not sure what the point is in having these drops/merchant stocks so rare. knowing my luck, the drop I'll get is heavy issue templar armor (which you get from meredith anyway), and my character can't equip that :/
How long has anyone else spent re-loading saves to try and get templar loot to drop?
edit: templar armor - superior light issue just dropped. but it just looks like the flint company cuirass. uh. little dissapointed there. does anyone know how to get the lighter of the 2 templar armors then? for the rogue?
