1st Playthrough everything is new so didn't know about Isabella
2nd Playthrough found more stuff quests wise and found out about Isabella did her quests all of them but failed to do Merrill's quest
3rd Playthrough decided to give Isabella off to the Qunaira failing to see that there is only 1 Ambrosia through the entire game
4th Playthrough this time doing everything, got Merrill her dagger thing so I thought all good, kept playing and playing then hang on I cannot seem to trigger Merrill's quest to fix the mirror instead she says she can't go back as the clan will surely kill her or something but got the Ambrosia
So all in all after over 150hrs spent on the game only 1 ingredient keeps slipping from my grasp, I have all the achievements apart from that last one where I have to have every type of ingredient.
I am extremely upset and now have to go back to an earlier save and do what? Not give her the dagger and keep it? Not romance with Merrill??
All in all has to be the most absolute WORST achievement along with Dragon Age: Origins having to uncover 100% of the map I kept hitting 98%...
So yeah I'm pretty upset having worked soo hard and put soo much effort into the game whilst putting up with bugs, glitches, game freezes etc.
I even played the entire game again so I could get the Exiled Prince achievemants where the game SHOULD have been patched and given me the points I deserved!

So much effort for a pretty icon...

Pretty icon? Err no its not just a pretty icon, I have been very dedicated with the game and Bioware have made this 1 achievement easily missable even on multiple playthroughs I think its damn right out of order.

And I agree it's a difficult achievement, but the problem here seems to be you not paying attention.

The ingredient list says 'Ambrosia 0/1,' but after multiple play throughs, didn't figure out there's only one Ambrosia? You've gotten the reaction to Sundermount before getting the quest EVERY SINGLE TIME. Like before, Merrill will give you the quest later in the act.
And I agree it's a difficult achievement, but the problem here seems to be you not paying attention.
And I'm guessing you knew everything there was to know about what was in the game on your 1st playthrough right or maybe even your second?
Instead of smartass comments people need to realise where I am coming from and READ that having given full explanations that even on my FOURTH playthrough I now didn't get the Merrill quest, why?

After you've calmed down, do some chores and bask in the glow of genuine accomplishment.
Don't think about DA2 for a couple of days.
Everything will be better.

When I'm overwrought about trivial things like games and such, a nice glass of warm milk and soothing music help. Put some milk on to warm, take some deep breaths and listen to Brahms. Drink your milk and think of beaches and pretty landscapes. Continue to breathe, not too deeply, but in a controlled and regular manner.

Bah! Only girly men drink your nimby-pimby warm milk! Real men drink Powerthirst™! www.youtube.com/watch

Yes, I figured out there was only one Ambrosia on my first play through. Why? Because the ingredient list says: Ambrosia 0/1.
You don't need to know everything. You don't need genius level intellect. That it you played the game three time before grasping this, is totally not the game's fault.
Also, prior to my second play through, I sat down and found out what I needed to do to get the achievements I wanted. If you're having trouble getting an achievement, use one of the online guides.
Hoping on the forum because you can't be bothered to figure out how to get an achievement is silly.
She always responds to the events of the quest before you do it.Instead of smartass comments people need to realise where I am coming from and READ that having given full explanations that even on my FOURTH playthrough I now didn't get the Merrill quest, why?

Err no she doesn't as I said if you can READ she didn't give me the quest even having visting her several times, you know what I think you and some others are seriously missing the point.
