No Bioware character has ever inspired so much wide-eyed admiration in me.

His chest beard is even better than Hawke's face beard. If that doesn't make him the greatest character ever, I don't know what does.

Varric, Alistair, Merrill, Shale.
Golden team! Who needs a PC?!
EDIT: You know what? Add witty Lady Hawke there and it will be too much fun for anyone to handle!

He's like a flawless, sparkling diamond. I just wish he'd put Bianca down once in a while.

Something wrong in him? Nah...
And anyway I've never been jealous of a crossbow (Okay, Bianca's a very special one) before seeing him.

All I know is if Hawke returns in DA3, which I hope, then Varric must be at his/her side. I still don't understand how they are separated at the end of DA2 with Varric claiming he doesn't know where he/she is - I can't live without my trusty dwarf;)

the title of this thread bothers me. Dx
anyway, i would mostly agree, but by the same token you realised that if he WERE romanceable thats were his flaws would probably start to pop up at...
if not for the simple fact that he could only be romanced by males/females and/or he COULD be romanced by males/females?

Varric is a story teller and he did mention that there were circumstances where they have to part ways.
I think Varric wants to tell Hawke's story but he can't if he's with Hawke.

Random thought.. How cool would it be to have a Varric plushie?
With a little model Bianca. I'm weird lol.

Flawless, gorgeous and devilishly charming. Plus, he called me beautiful in his sexy I'm-a-ninja-flirtin' voice. Maker, help me.

Varric is one of my favorites. I think he knows where Hawke is, he's just looking out for him/her.

Did he charm so much people? XD Btw, I am a male, so I consider him only as Hawke's friend.

If you take varric into the fade you find that he does have some issues. He desperately wants to be important, instead of following around a champion or his brother.

I loved him! And I usually dislike the majority of dwarves in DA (Sigrun being an exception).
