I go to start it from Steam it does the preloader with Morrigan looking all cool and what not, then it goes black screen to the specified dimensions, then error. [Send] [Don't Send] dealy. Funny thing is I was able to play this yesterday. Just happening today, I restarted my comp, reinstalled, no luck. Any ideas?

If you have a problem, (there was no body text at first), you must tell us more about what happened yesterday and today, and about the PC itself. .

None of you have paid any attention at all. You obviously have no serious interest in an answer.
PCs are not *anything* at all like game console systems. There is almost nothing that is truly "standard" between various branded PCs, making the game developers' jobs very difficult, and resulting in warning labels attached to game boxes for those games that have serious requirements.
That's why you must offer information, if you expect assistance here.

Here's some info, I was cleaning my computer removing old files and what not and I miss clicked it and it started up and I was able to play it. I closed it down to see if it was stable, and it did not open again. I have 67gigs free. My computer can definately play it. Probably some setting.

I had gone through every fix and update on the forums and I played for an hour or so then stopped and went to class. when I came back nothing had changed and the game froze when i started it. I meet the recommended requirements for the game. and I have done several virus searches with nothing coming up. I have updated my drivers and done windows update. I believe it is a specific problem on my PC i just dont know what it could be.

At the very least, you need to provide complete information on your CPU, RAM, operating system, graphics card and the drivers for said card.Balticon7 wrote...

In case you have misunderstood how to evaluate your PC compared to that game box label, we have to start from here. Fill it all in.

I did some digging and I found out Spyware doctor was being an ass about letting the game play.

also i fixed mine. I went to the nvidia control panel and moved the slider a little bit toward performance and it worked. dont know what that means. i guess the cards were overheating?
