Has Anyone Tried This Yet?

Seems to be a pretty important piece of information the game designers glanced over. Did they think no one would kill such a... lov-able *cough*, mage? (I didn't even like him in Awakenings, and now I want to curbstomp him. Stabbing isn't enough).
Has anyone tried loaded save data in which they burned Anders in Awakenings?

Two chances to kill him, surely SOMEOBODY out there has done it and tried to play DA:2. Does he pull a Lazarus?

"She turned me into a newt!" ... "I got better."
Wow, that's... that's kind of fail. Anders gets to come back from the dead. If Justice was there at the time, I can see the whole thing that happened with Wynne happening with Anders, but if you shank him when you meet him, before you even meet Justice, there should be no chance.
Just poor planning, is what it is.

Well, in DA universe, what is so hard about seeing dead people? Either your mage, or your companions have ability to raise people. And there is a potion called Mythal's Favor that can be used by anyone now. I bet Anders have Ser Pounce-a-lot carry a tiny Mythal's Favor on his neck, and instruct the cat when Anders falls, wait til everyone leaves, smash the potion on Anders' head. This maybe why Anders is so upset he lost that cat, because it's not too easy to train just any cat to do that.

Ser Pounce-A-Lot is really very random for Anders. Or maybe the old Anders was like this. But seriously, for such a serious person who rarely jokes, to name a cat Ser Pounce-a-lot and to have such obsession about it is just ... not consistent. It's like watching Fenris talking about butterfly and flowers, just don't happen.

I would pay a sovreign to hear Fenris talk about butterflies and flowers. I was so happy when he started joking with Varric. Take the two of them out a few times, you should hear him make his joke. It's the one joke he gets and his delivery isn't very good, but Maker love him for trying.

I agree. I wonder if anyone's written Bioware to point out that Anders pulls an unexplained Lazarus. Even saying something like, "Justice hauled me back into my body," or something, but no, he's just THERE. Staring at you. With those dead eyes.

The only situation in which "dead" Anders isn't explained is if you execute him instead of recruit him. But presumably, Anders just fakes his death there too.
Darn plot armor. Or Pokemon works too - haha

Wow, awesome. Thanks so much for the link. So they do explain it. Still lame, but at least there's the possibility of an explanation.

At least this one is acknowledged. Zombie Leliana is still a mystery.
Zombie Leliana? Oh, right, you can kill her if you defile the ashes. Wow, that is weird. You can kill Zevran, too, I wonder if he stills shows up.

"What a backstabber" is more like it. He claims these people are his friends and then just leaves them to die. He's a deserter... good grief, I didn't think I could dislike him more.

Yeah, I know what that's about. Leliana leaves the Warden after spouting all that stuff, but I still liked her. Even after I found out she left the Warden to go back to a life she swore she'd given up, I still liked her.
I found it interesting that Leliana leaves you and Morrigan will take you with her. Also worth noting; Isabela won't leave you, either. I find that to be highly intriguing social commentary on the part of the writers.

Well, Lelianna leaving is just ... an optional thing. She stayed with me until the end. And in some alternate ending, she could stay with me even after DA:O as lover. Although I have not explored that possibility. Morrigan will end up leaving Warden no matter what after the end of DA:O.

Good grief.
Does anyone know what happens if you send Anders with the Templars at the start of Awakenings? He shouldn't even know Nate in that situation or be a Grey Warden, or know Justice.

It kind of makes you wonder why Justice sought him out. Where's the justice in saving your own skin while leaving your friends to die?Kyela684 wrote...

please tell me once you did that... but I guess being sent back to the Templars do not equate death but still, how he got to know Justice?

Justice didn't seek him out. When Kristoff's body got too crusty even for Justice to move about, that's when Anders volunteered for... posession, I guess we'll call it.

Might take a while for me to play DA:A again but I am thinking somewhere along the game Anders will just escape the templars again... still it's worth a try.
I'll get back to you on this whenever.
