I'm more thinking about the high heels and boob windows Even if the skintight stuff is good armor (which I am fine with), that patch of skin you have completely exposed? Shrapnel target. There's also the helmet problem. I'd prefer helmets that go on and off easily, and I kind of vaguely hate running into combat without my helmet... still I'd rather be able to have it off for face-to-face conversations.

And unless you are riding horses into combat, heels are a bad idea. And if you ARE riding horses, a nice chunky medium heel is what you want, like on a cowboy boot. Samara and Miranda... sigh.

About sums up my thoughts. Bright red/skin tight/revealing didn't scream solemn assassin to me either. lol
I mean, I know Me2 was supposed to be less formal on a Cerberus ship, but I miss when the outfits were at least sensible. It'd be nice if they used the suggestions about there being customizable combat outfits as well as casual wear in the next game. Either way, hoping common sense comes before fanservice purposes.

I'm actually slightly more OK with Samara, it could be that her outfit is ceremonial, and not meant to be efficient... sort of like the Beefeaters or the Palace Guards in England. In this case she's basically a sailor scout.

Actually... Ok. I take it back. Sailor Scout uniforms for all female characters in ME3. And tuxedos for all the dudes.

Funny how "practical" outfits only actually come up when the armor actually starts having real armor in it.

You guys do realize that half of the ladies in Mass Effect 1 were practically running around in skin-tight latex with optional motorcycle-helmet attachments, right? "Heavy" armor looked vaguely practical, but it also looked like what "light" armor should have been.

Oh, and the heavy armor rides up their bumcracks, just to make up for the additional practicality.

At least ME2's outfits are honest about their lack of practicality.

I don't know, I guess I find it painfully ironic that the dedicated monk who swore herself off sex dresses more promiscuously than the strippers we've seen. (as well as her homicidal sex addict of a daughter )

Formal wear interesting. Sailor Scout uniforms, I wouldn't even know how to respond. lol

The only one I can think of being close to latex would be Liara's. And heavy armor
or not, at least they didn't have high heels. Or you know, expose skin in the
vacuum of space. >>
