About 1/8 of the time DA2 is failing to start in full screen. I can go into the options menu and reenable full screen mode again to fix it but does anyone know why this is happening? My specs are below:
Core i5 750 @2.67ghz
Asus EAH 5750
8GB Ram
Win 7 64 bit
Game randomly not starting in full screen.

If this happens, try minimize the game (I use the windows button) then reselect it on the bottom bar. Should go back to full screen.

Popup windows from instant messengers and such sometimes force Dragon Age II into windowed mode for me. Not every time, though, as I'd never have any time to actually play the game then.
Anyway. closing the popups usually automatically returns the game to fullscreen. Minimizing and reselecting can also work, as Speakeasy13 mentioned.
Manipulating the window in any other way, however, leaves me with no other option that to go into the game's video settings and choosing to activate fullscreen mode again.
