A random question passed my head when browsing the spell details in the wiki:

Has there been any word on whether you risk losing the loot on the target when you use a crit to finish off a petrified or a frozen target?

This has been a mechanic in some of the past games and would affect some of my spell choices if so.

There was a post in the old forums on this. Devs say it won't destroy loot.
