Okay, so I know we're quite a way from being able to edit the cutscenes and dialogue trees, so this isn't so much an actual request-request as it is a "something to keep in mind when the day comes" request.

I'm finding myself a little troubled by the differences in dialogue between Anders' Act 1 conversation with m!Hawke and f!Hawke.

If you're m!Hawke and you flirt with him (or respond to his flirtations) in the "Talk to Anders" quest, you get his history with Karl.

If you're f!Hawke and you flirt with him (or respond to his flirtations) you get the "I'll end up hurting you" speech.

This bothers me on a couple levels.

First, it seems to imply that a m!Hawke is less likely to be hurt by Anders' later actions than an f!Hawke, perhaps even that an m!Hawke isn't capable of loving Anders as an f!Hawke would be.

Second, it seems to disregard the idea that f!Hawke might want to/need to know that Anders was just forced to kill his one-time lover--a rather important bit of characterization and context, one would think.

So... when the day comes that we can get into the dialogue trees and begin tweaking them, I think this needs to be fixed, so that both f!Hawke and m!Hawke get the same conversation options.

Similar thing happens with Fenris -- after telling the story of his escape, women have the action to say "so you've never..." and he says if he had slept with someone before the ritual, he wouldn't remember, and female hawke can also say "and since then?" where he'll respond with "I'd never wanted to be close to anyone until now. Male hawkes don't get this dialogue at all. So, if someone is going to start equalizing the romance dialogues of characters, I'm all for it!
