The person in the video I linked picked it.  Why don't you actually watch it instead of droning on with your delusions?

Yeah... read your reply to lazuli, then tell me again who is delusional. xD

I was referring to the one I linked to YOU, genius.

This one:

I wasn't even talking about that, because you are obviously getting something totally different out of that one scene than I am... and the Anders/Justice thing entirely. So, yeah, my last post about who is delusional here stands.

I played the game, I don't need to, unlike you apparently. :)

But since you obviously aren't going to let it go... he's saying that it wasn't because of Justice that he did it, he CHOSE to do it too. Justice did not take him over and make him do it like you're saying.

Typical, go ahead and run away from it.  It's obvious you are just too pathetic to admit you were wrong at this point.

How am I avoiding anything?

You are just repeating your nonsense with a new non sequitur. I said it was because Anders was possessed by Justice   You said that Anders said it was "his idea entirely."

You were wrong, get over it.

While I don't approve of the bickering and I don't care much for Anders as a character, Fruit of the Doom's link does show that Justice seems to be forcing Anders into this. Whether or not you accept that they are one in the same at this point could still matter, though, as even though the game makes it clear when Justice takes overt control, the spirit is exerting an influence even when Anders' eyes aren't glowing.

No, you are just pissed because you're one of those people who thinks they're always right. It /was/ his idea entirely, as they (Anders and Justice) are the same person now. Justice did not make him do this.

I don't need to get over anything.

My argument then is the same as it is now, you're using the fact that Justice possessed Anders as a scapegoat when Anders admits that he is the one who changed Justice into the spirit of Vengeance when they merged because of all his anger for the Chantry and Templars... since you like youtube so much, look up the scene. :D

Oh boy, more nonsense.  Anders was never that ruthless or angry, it was Justice's zealotry combined with his bitterness that lead to the mess he is now.

My original statement was:

"Except Anders is possessed by a crazed spirit of vengeance
() while Sebastian is just
purely natural jackass."

You have done nothing to disprove that.  You've just claimed different nonsense every few minutes  that's been easily shot down by a couple of youtube videos.

I almost can't wait to see what you will pull out of your butt next.

....right, go play the game and listen to the dialogue after the events at the Chantry with Karl instead of arguing that I'm wrong about what Anders says. Whether it is true or not, Anders SAYS he is the reason that Justice became Vengeance because of the anger he harbored inside him due to his days within the Circle and general oppression the mages endure.

If you say that is bull**** too, then apparently you didn't get that dialogue or you skipped over it.

He was being honorable and accepting all the blame for what happened.  It obviously was not all his fault.

How about you go play DA: Awakening and then come back and tell me that Anders was truly a psychotic sociopath on his own?

So, how we got here I don't know but if we're going to look at Anders' actions and differentiate between what is him and what is Justice, we should note as Laz does that his eyes weren't glowing; indicating Justice wasn't in control.

But...In the interest of putting a finer point on it, in the example demonstrated by Marethari, the demon can be imprisoned in the body without giving it control.   It is ultimately the individual who gives in or does not, Fenris is quoted as saying:

  • Anders: By now, you must see what an injustice the templars are.
  • Fenris: Must I? I see templars trying to control what they have good reason to fear.
  • Anders: But they go too far.
  • Fenris: Talk to Hawke about his/her mother. Ask him/her who went "too far."
  • Anders: You can't hold all mages responsible for that!
  • Fenris: It doesn't take all mages to cause this. Only the weak ones.
Which flows well into:

  • Anders: Not all mages are weak.
If Hawke is a mage:

  • Fenris: True. Hawke, for instance, is not weak.
Otherwise:

  • Fenris: Bethany, for instance, was not weak.
  • Anders: You specifically don't mention me.
  • Fenris: That's also true.
  • Anders: I'll prove to you that I'm not weak
  • Fenris: Prove it to yourself. You're convincing no one else.
In the end, Anders makes it clear he was in the know the whole time.   Only when he allowed Justice to take control was there ever an issue. Other than the Fade where Justice is in control the whole time, there is no other example of Anders not being in control or failing to regain control from Justice.

Also, if you followed Awakenings you know Justice tries to influence Anders but Anders rejects his ideas.
It isn't until Anders truly starts to believe what Justice is telling him is necessary, that he succumbs to the Wil of the Spirit, not the control of the Spirit and starts down this path.

Either way, he acted of his own accord, which is based on the influence of Justice to do what he felt needed to be done.  Which again, only further demonstrates the similarities between him and Vael, acting passionately for what he believes.  The difference in Vael being the influence of the Chantry and not a spirit..

Lmao, I never said he was. I said he got pissed when you did things for the Chantry... and by /that/ I meant there were some quests you could obtain from the Chantry and Chanter's Board that if you did them with him in the party, it gained you disapproval. Anders was pretty clear that he was no fan of templars or mage oppression even in Awakening.

As for why Justice became Vengeance, we can only speculate as the writers are the only ones who really know. I was just telling you what he said in the game and what Anders believes to be true about it.
