the thing is people thought this would be a follow up to origins and thats not the case its another completely different character that somehow is connected to the warden in some way we will find out in number 3 i guess but i can see why people are a bit pissed at the fact that its not a follow up but its just the way it is.

also this will just be my opinion i found the battles in origins pointless you press x or a or wateva once and it does all the fighting for u wats the point you may aswell just make a cup of tea while you wait for the warden to finish the long dull battle it makes you feel utterly useless while you sit there practically whatching a really slow film and also the warden was silent he didnt talk like his lips were stuck together with superglue.

but in dragon age 2 your hawke you can talk now YAY the fighting the battles get you involved the mage is absolutely epic now whereas in origins you stood there shooting tiny balls out your staff im not being a hater to origins im just stating my opinion because there were some things in origins i liked but dragon age 2 completes dragon age for me in gameplay.

im not a fanboy of bioware either because there are some games from bioware i dont like im just stating my opinion which is what were meant to do on forums.

there arent more haters then people that like the game its just haters are always so intent on getting thier opinion which they see as fact when its not out there to annoy others and make pointless conversations that never end there will always be haters there will always be people that like it but we dont need to see constantly pointless hater posts.

romantiq that is your opinion and i respect that but i actually dont see anything wrong with the game apart from the copy and pasting (<my opinion) when you make an opinion like that you need to back it up... just saying

Obviously you're free to hate all you will. But you should know that hate destroys the individual, not the object in focus.

I think we should all wait for Hawke's story to be finished and refurbished by DLC..then we could all say our opinion 'bout Dragon Age 2..
its just its to early to be hating or loving DA2 with its back bone story ..
just saying.,

i agree with jcski aswell it is too soon to be loving or hating but so far the games not all that bad in my opinion

The DLC can be good, and I can love the DLC, and I can like BioWare more for a good DLC (I don't dislike BioWare at all, and generally like the developer).

But unless they give us the DLC for free it should be counted seperatly.

I agree. Game full of flaws, jumping monkeys, flying ninjas, boring quests, horrible level design ...
and not so good graphics at all - go look at sewers (ligting, shadows) in Vampire: Bloodlines ( game made 7 years ago) for example if you want to know what i mean and compare bland DA2s carton box sewers

Had it been episodical, with a lower starting price sure, but as it is no.

I would honestly rather they completely scrap any DLC plans and put everything which closes this story in a completely new game without all the combat/design/ui/blegh flaws in DAII.
DLC at this point feels like getting a bad meal and hoping the desert redeams everything; frankly we should just go to another reasturant.

Done so multiple times...A lot of people share the same opinion as me so if you want to check then look at other threads that don't blindly praise this game but instead provide and outline it's massive cons. Also check "Motivational Posters" thread for a quick & illustrated version of negative feedback.

i dont get it you point out all the bad bits and not the good ones why do you people always see the bad in things and the graphics arent **** comparing this to a game made years ago will do nothing seeing as the graphics back then were ten times worse im not blindly praising the game either im stating the good parts fighting speech the bad parts are glitches freezes often but bioware will probably make a patch for that and yes copy and paste is a big reaccurance in this game but you get used to it.
im not saying this game is absolutely 10 out of 10 because its not id say about 8.5 maybe 9 out of 10 but thats my opinion.the games not completely crap or suckish either you just keep pointing out the bad parts to make it look crap.

personally i dont like call of duty but i dont go around trying to find forums and posting a load of crap they dont want to hear i keep it to myself .(xkg that pic is crap graphics and anyway the only sewers in dragon age 2 is darktown and its not actually a sewer its what they use to describe how it smells and how trampy it is)

how did hate for dragon age 2 make you pre order the witcher 2 ??? that makes no sense you would have preordered it anyway.

Because COD caters to the needs and expectations of the fans of the series. Go figure, since we're talking about another kind of series when it comes to DAII. And I'd like to see the COD boards when the producers suddenly introduced romance options or side quests, because they thought, fishing for the RPG audience might be a good idea.

Oh yeah, if there can't be any more complaints about DA2 then I guess you won't need any patches to fix such a picture of perfection....right?
