Everyone know that arrival was a bigger fail than witch hunt. Everyone also know that in 011 straight up single player games dont stand no chance against the big bwoys. 

Gears 3 is prone to sell 5 million copies its first week just off its epic multiplayer and in this recession people only got money to buy 1 or 2 games every 6 months.  Trust that most PS3 users can care less about a Mass effect 3 so hopefully Bioware aint too worried about wahat the JohnnyComeLatelys think.  Mass Effect 3s success will rely on whether X Box users wanna put 60 dollars behind it and with gears 3 coming i doubt any xbox user is gonna care about ME 3 if multiplayer is absent.

I actually likes Arrival. The story was a little...predictable. BUT it was better than Witch Hunt IMO

Why would it fail simply for the lack of multiplayer? The first two games did just fine without it. You are making sales estimates about a game that hasn't even come out yet. You are assuming every Xbox 360 user is the same and that the majority of them are fans of Gears, and would play Gears over Mass Effect. You are also assuming everyone can only buy 1-2 games every six months. I work a minimum wage job, and I can get one every two weeks. You are also assuming everyone hated Arrival. Your logic is flawed.

Oh noes! BioWare, a company known for never actually producing a bad game (say what you will; I thought DA2 was quite good, and a lot of people agree with me), have put out a single piece of disappointing DLC.

Clearly, they have lost all game development ability, and will soon be steamrolled by small indie devs and Epic Games.

Oh, and the Mass Effect target audience likely doesn't give a rat's arse about whether or not multiplayer is included. Hell, most of us would probably prefer that it wasn't, to make sure BioWare focus all their energy on producing an absolutely kick-ass singleplayer campaign.

This guy is completely biased. He's comparing two different games. Multiplayer is not needed and the resources used for that could be used to enhance the single player. For Yall Information Gamespot just reviewed arrival and gave it a 5. Who ever reviewed that should get fired because that wack dlc deserve a 1/10. The nerve of Bioware to release such a trash dlc last LMFAO and SMH

When will people stop using stupid slang? Also 2 games every six months, what are you man, from the Projects.....given your love for multiplayer and apperant income, taken along with the fact you wrote your opening post and all the fallowing like a deranged crack baby, I assume yes.

As to the rest of it, Gears of War 3, is not a great game short of for buffoons who have ruined my most beloved shooter titles to pander to the masses. And lastly I'm sure I'm not alone with the huge amount of 360 players and PC players, that well really we don't give a crap about the PS3...and for the most part didn't think you guys should have gotten ME:2.  Or care about multiplayer for that matter.

If anything they should be scared of Deus Ex and Skyrim, I don't think there are too many people choosing between Gears 3 and ME3.
