I haven't found a way to get them to show up in the character creation (I'm sure there's a way), but would be interested to know, too.
Getting new tints to show up in the morph editor is easy, though, so I suppose that's good enough - with that available, why would anyone use the limited in-game creator anyway?

That's the point, the in-game creator is limited to a handful of real world skin tones & colours.
As this is a full on sword & sorcery fantasy game imho there should be fantasy colours in the creator, such as purple or red eyes, blue or green hair & drow skin tone maybe.
I know there isn't any drow in the game but in the Dalish background one of the pc's dialogue choices to the male village elder is about elves in caves.
Not eveyone will be able to use the toolset, so for those people i would like to put up a mod with extra skin tones, eye & hair colurs for the creator.
I would think that if it's not hardcoded then there would be a ref file with the filenames for the .tnt files to be used in the creator.
Would a dev be willing to comment on this?

If its anything like the previous its tucked away in some 2da some place which is then hidden in some .erf, without a devs description of where to look youll be looking for a needle in a haystack. If you do find out please notify me so I can start creating custom one as well. This would be ideal for making your own races, which I plan on attempting.

The file in question is in the misc.erf, it's an xml.
"chargenmorphcfg.xml"
I've uploaded my mod to projects if you want to have a look.
