Trying not to spoil it too much. Avernus discovers something and sends a messenger with a note of great import. Apparently there are enemies against the Wardens or something that don't want that information to reach the First Warden.

I'd have to play that quest before I can really get into any sort of discussion about Avernus and Grey Warden enemies but thanks for the responses.  Avernus and Nathaniel are the two I missed in both of my playthroughs and I'm certain I did not kill them.

I don't think he would have to study her. What I remember from the book is that she went to Weisshaupt and they cured her. So, I think the Wardens already know.

My only complaint was using the same exact voice and ascent as Riordan. Granted Hubert was kind of the same I guess to. Just felt like it was Riordan with a glued on stache.

Epic moustache FTW!



Stroud's moustache actually appears to be the same as Duncan's. Stroud's trying to get an epic beard/moustache combo going on and I approve.

Oh nothing could ever beat Duncan's beard/moustache combo, that I know. But I approve of trying to emulate him.













These three four shall save the world with their epic beards. Duncan's beard/moustache combo is magically enchanted so that he can never die.


EDIT: My Dwarf Warden counts among them. His beard is truly epic and magnificent. A glorious example of what all beards should aspire to.

Duncan's beard will always be cool because of who he was.

But I prefer the pirate mustache and beard. My hub totally rocks his.

That look always reveals the gleam in it's owner's eyes and usually couple with suaveness .

It's because he IS Riordan. Riordan didn't die in the battle against the Archdemon. He didn't want anyone to know he survived the fall, so he took on a disguise to avoid exposure.

One has only to download this mod to wear the armor for DA2. Though I also agree that it's a little weird to have Hawke wear it. Have to use the console to get it though, but it's easy enough to enable. Too bad for console users, but that's why I don't buy games like these on console anymore.

Can't wait till somebody also converts this mod or a similar one to DAO. That way the Warden and Alistair will have a neat matching type theme. Guess Duncan would also at least need a reskin, and Riordan could wear one of the types in the mod. Then one also has to think of Awakening and the characters in it considering they are all wardens. Surely it's not too difficult for somebody with a little ability with the toolset. Sadly my own knowledge only extends to skinning, heh.

Don't know why Nathaniel wasn't wearing some variation of the theme in DA 2. That should be remedied as well.
