The weight-trigger block in the royal palace...ive learned inadvertently through these forums that its used to summon a dragon to fight...how do i go about doing this?

I am most curious of a few things in the in the Legion of the Dead chapel(?) within the dead trenches.  There are three things: a table that activates the chapels defences(that isnt on the map), a Legionnaire shrine(that is on the map), and a 'gangue shade relic'(thats on the map but i cant find in the room).   Now i realize through this room you learn about the legion, you get some nice armor, and you get a little quest to add the dead caste to the dwarves memories.  What i dont get is a) the point of the shrine since you can 'use' it...but nothing ever seems to happen, B) the gangue shade relic...wth is it?, c) Why did the spirits colapse into visible corpses as aposed to disapearing like the rest?....and why are they still there (ive ventured back out of curiosity)?...and why are some of them sparkling as if they have items i cant actually collect anything from them?, d) even though ive completed the quest of the dead caste, why is there still a quest icon hovering over the sarcophagas beyond the chapel even though ive already searched it and it remains unsearchable?

...*sigh*

For the dragon, you'll have to hold position your party. There are two weight triggers right next to eachother on the left side of the room and one in the center of the previous room. Once all three are weighed down examine the throne again.

Not sure about the other, hadn't really explored the Legion chapel much.Kinda went in, got my armor and key and left.

Wait theres a Dragon in the Deep Roads? Was it a high dragon or just a drake?

Be pretty awesome to find a high dragon in there though. Which part of the royal palace has these weight blocks?

Its a dragon, similar to the one you fight in the brecilian ruins for the Dalish/Werewolf questline. Neither a drake nor a high dragon.

....and the option to summon it becomes null and void once you proclaim a dwarven king...*sigh*

Anyways, as far as the Legions chapel...I'm guessing most of my questions either deal with facts of a broken game or relate to dwarven origins somehow...but if not the case, please post.

for the legion shrine i think you can summon a demon if you equip the full legion set (helm / glove / armour / boots) or some such, not 100% positive on this one though and i will try it once i get home

Huh...correct. Summons a shade boss....109xp, drops a generic item (dragonbone chainmail for me). That must be what the 'gangue shade relic' refers to on the map, since the shade is called gangue shade, but what the 'relic' is supposed to signify is beyond me...
