I know its not a big deal really... but who here thinks that Hawkes Mansion is kinda lame.... it has a living room?, 2 bedrooms and a libaray/study... can hardly call it a mansion...
Its pretty disapointing because in a codex it talks about the amell mansion was a sight to see with balls being held there and such... even tho really a bigger house wouldnt serve much purpose... still would be nice to live in the "Mansion" that is suposed one of the best in Kirkwall..

Kind of agree. Those must've been modest balls.

Well, I think it's implied that the mansion is bigger than what we can see on the map and access; not only from what we read about in codex entries but also from Aveline having her wedding there. I'm sure there's a ballroom, and at least one more bedroom we don't see. (Can't picture Leandra and Gamlen sharing)

I would have liked to have seen a few more rooms, too, if only for all the comments Hawke makes around the place.

At least we got a unique mansion. All other nobles in Kirkwall live in identical ones.

Yeah I get the feeling its much larger since they usually have kitchen(s), a larder, store rooms, basement/cellar, living quarters for servants, etc. Its an estate, its not only an elaborate home but also gardens and such.

I don't care if I'm the only one in Thedas with my balls, all of their balls are bigger.

I say these things fully conscious of their double meaning and giggle discreetly. I can always count on you to bring them to light.

Balls are only funny when you think they're totally gross.

In Act I, when you do the Birthright quest, the entrance to the cellar to the estate is in Darktown. So, that implies it is very big. :P

I could take this metaphor so far. But I won't.

More Isabela graffiti would be nice.

Has anyone noticed there's no kitchen or dining area? Also where do Bodahn, Sandal and Orana sleep?

What do you think Hawke's paying them for?

They pick their food up at the local McDonald's, and Sandal, he made an enchantment that makes them not sleep. ^_^

Nope there's dialog when Merril moves in with you at least that says Sandal and co. do in fact sleep.
Hawke just makes them sleep on the floor. She's mean like that.

I figure the housing association in Hightown must be murder.  Keeping the lawn mowed is one thing, but identical floorplans, come on.

Maybe they all just share a bed I mean Sandal and Bodahn are dwarves, Orana's an elf. That's only like a person and a half. Hawke could easily fit them all in the bed with him/her.

Now I am wondering, does Sandal snore? What does a Sandal snore sound like?
