It's the matter of question - do our spieces exist in the same time - there could have been thousands of inteligent spieces like us in the universe, but they might have existed milions of years ago, or, are yet to develop and will reach out level, when humanity is long gone...

Of course there can.  I guess the real question is if we will ever meet or interact with any of them, or are we too isolated for contact to occur?

We must not only have the tech to reach other civilizations in other star systems, but we must all exist in the same time.....otherwise we will encounter fossils and ruins at best....

Agreed.  But even fossils and ruins would be pretty damn cool.

Agreed.  But even fossils and ruins would be pretty damn cool.

That would be the best thing that happened to Humanity so far m8.
Having the evidence, that we aren't alone in the Universe....or that at least there were others before us...and can be others after us.
