What makes you think it already hasn't happened? Look up enough on the subject, you'll believe our government have been dealing with intelligent beings not from our planet for awhile now. Look at ancient Sumerian carving's on tablets and you will see things that are impossible for a culture living 6000+ years ago. Especially when you see the one that is translated as "snake rope" which translaters along with scientists actually believe is a wormhole. Also in some of that text this "snakerope" is to be opened again in the sky around..2012, funny isn't that? So maybe it will happen next year, who knows? Well we do have comic book Heros like Superman, so looking at the Greek gods, and for that matter other gods, could simply have been tall tales, where retellings magnify the deeds done by the original people as the stories are retold over and over again across generations. I think Praetor that what you say is entirely possible. And it could very well be true. I never dismiss anything - I usually lean towards what less or more likely. That said, I find it very unlikely that the ancient peoples acted alone. There is a lot of evidence to suggest otherwise, in particular a lot of the paintings and such done on the walls throughout the pyramids.

1.) there are paintings of what look like modern day space shuttles.

2.) some of the paintings are so deep in the pyramid that there is no way a torch or 'mirror to mirror' light source would reach that deep. Last I checked, the egyptians didn't have flashlights back then.

Well, I've watched a number of programs on the subject, like the Ancient Astronaut Theory, but I also watched the Re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series so the issue for me is filtering out the truth from the clutter. And considering human history, truth can certainly be stranger then our fiction!

And considering that genetically we can track ****** sapiens sapiens to like ~100,000 years ago, those sunken cities found worldwide leave us with many, many compelling questions and more than our fair share of theories.

And many ancient texts like those Hindu texts deserve greater study, IMHO.

No. And I think knowing who Rebecca Black is makes you more immature than me (and no, I'm not going to look her up).
