That's fine I suppose. I just wish people would stop necroing threads. It has been happening rather a lot lately.
No kidding. Well, it does give me an excuse to share the kitty love, I suppose.
Thats fine, he'll be necro'd back to life next week and be back with us all fine and dandy. Thats the beauty of necromancy, they never really leave instead just keep coming back so kitty will live again have no fear.
As for Moshie, don't worry really about bringing back old posts. These forums are based on the principle of dejavu, every thread created under a new name/title tends to have been created before with different title whether a day ago, month or year and inside all the same things are said over and over between them. It is rare to have anything new on here being debated unless the devs have leaked some news or there's some interview or press thing happened. Everything in between is necro-thoughts and posts, within non necro thread titles.
For example Rocks reply I have seen him state his like of DA2 many times using a variety of different terms, words or phrase but content of 'him liking DA2' the same. Even in this very thread this is the second time has replied about the principle of necro with first time being page 2, four months ago. I have also seen necro-kitten must be over two or three dozen times on here, it's all repeated same things said everyday just in under new thread titles.
As for the review itself if you found any enjoyment or kinship in idiology and feelings towards the title then I am glad you enjoyed the review. Most of the replies in here on this thread are to most extent in agreement with my feelings on the subject which is nice as gives me a buffer of knowing not alone in regard of issues have with DA2 and/or Bioware's future installments in the franchise.
P.s. Love the name Moshicat btw. Simply because Moshie reminds me of Tenchi Muyo character named Mihoshi.

Ah yeah, I only get a chance to poke around the forum now and then due to having a hectic timetable at the minute, but there is def a lot of repitition going on. Not that I mind that at all, sometimes you have to go round in circles a few times to get things off your chest and my mixed emotions from this game does require some stewing over!
As for the review, I really appreciated being able to share my views with other likeminded indivuduals. My social circle is not gaming inclined and it nice to see that a lot of other folk have a similar inclination towards gaming as myself
p.s im glad you like the name, its actually from a childhood book, but I if its the same show I used to love watching Tenchi on cartoon network years ago - and I never made the connection. Going to have to dig out some anime now to stop me skulking round these forums

Only four months eh? Time for some record breaking:wizard:Zanallen wrote...
Really? You just happened to "come across" a four month old thread?
I never even understood what the problem was with posting in an old thread(a great one at that), would you rather have another millionth thread about how ME3 is getting content cut and added as DLC?
On topic I would like to congratulate the OP for the completeness of his post, reading through it all I came to realise once again why i near dispised DA2 (tho the OP clearly does not), and why it's never touched my xbox again since it's release.
Everything that I loved about DAO, was taken out of it in the sequel, only to be replaced with lackluster awesome-button effect. Why Bioware thought it was a good idea to stray away from the classical RPG style that they are so know for (BG,BGII) and turn it into a hack and slash game with with stats I'll never understand.
Even the writing has gone down the drain, compared to the original, and why in the love of the Almighty Atheïst, did they not incorporate the Origins, the very trademark of the original game, into it. I agree on the matter of the Arishock, he was one of the few compelling npc's, his arc was the only one I didn't mind seeing coming. As for the templar arc, I found it to be comepletely pointless, they should have had one main plot, instead of several smaller ones, the Arishock deserved far more interaction than, well I can't even remember the names of the other antagonists, it was that bad.
I'm planning on reading the books, and not touching the third game, as i've got the feeling that's it's going to be in the words of the AVGN ["bad"].

I liked DA2, but I agree with what you say here.
I guess this is what happens when you rush out the sequel to one of the greatest RPGs of all time.

I have to say I totally agree with you in most of what you said (not everything but most). There are some things they need to work on. You reminded me of some of the things that I didn't agree with either. It is true, I like DAO a little better than DA2 like most and it was a little lacking in a couple of places. I can't help to keep saying however, because I have alot of respect for Bioware simply because of their great games, that Dragon Age is still the beat game I have ever played. I strongly aplored them. And I also hope they look at what everyone says and tries to put as much into it as possible.
Saything that however, does remind me on what you said above about the games coming out so far apart from each other. I so agree with that. I hate having to wait so long, BUT I do apreachiate that in making something that I hope will be bigger and better than the last two, it will take time to create. If they really are going to try and create something that is going to be massive, something that's better than all of them put together, making their best game ever, trying to put everything they can in it to please us all as much as possible (I think I've used enough examples lol), then it will take time. I just hope that since we have to wait a year for the next one, this really will be the best game, one to remener. I guess all we can do is sit and wait. Wish we didn't have to wait so long though
