Much as in the same way Leilana's Song was released for Origins.  I'd like to play through a dlc that would explain to me how Anders and Justice merged and/or how Fenris got the lyrium tattooed by Denarius.  But more Anders and Justice.

....

I disagree.

We already know all we need to know about Fenris getting the lyrium tattoos (shock it's exactly like Jason Bourne and Wolverine; he asked for it).

I still hold we should have seen the Justice/Anders merge in the game....but going back now seems pointless. We knew who they were in Awakening and we know what they became.

Be interesting to see Justice again though...maybe. Maybe not...I don't think he's as interesting as he used to be.

What I would like to see is a return of the Qunari and the Real kicker would be that Sten form DA:O would be the one to lead these returning Qunari back to Kirkwall. Just a thought.

I want a DLC where Hawke turns into a dragon and laughs in Flemeths face.
"HA! Dont ever tell me what I can and can not do!"

If they want to go the prequel route for a DLC again, I'd rather they allow for some interaction with the family prior to fleeing Lothering and maybe even show the Battle of Ostagar from Hawke's point of view. Just imagine being down in that melee in the valley that the Warden and Alistair only glimpsed at.

I glitched down there once. Not that impressive. Just a bunch of low resolution sprites repeating the same animation over and over. :P

I want a DLC that combines The Fade from The Circle Tower and the Deep Roads from DAO.

Varric: Well sh*t.
Hawke: What?
Varric: We've been wandering for hours trapped in our own nightmares and suddenly I have the urge to take a nap.
Hawke: You can't nap in The Fade... that'd - that'd be unnatural. Somehow.
Varric: I'm just saying I'm either bored or running for my life until I can drink a health potion and retaliate.
Hawke: Man I wish I could just randomly make out with Merrill right now, it'd make things so much better. *sigh* Which one are we rescuing again?
Varric: I think Fenris? Isabela?
Hawke: Well all I know is she is oiling him up right now so its either his nightmare or her fantasy.

You know, I may be in the minority here but...

With the new combat system prolonged battles and dungeon crawling wouldn't be as bad as it was in Origins.

Just my opinion, but I really liked the combat system in this game more than the last game's. It was responsive and engaging. DA:O's was clunky and slow and it made long dungeon crawling tedious.

I think instead of 'go here and fight waves of enemies' the whole large dungeon crawl experience would have been preferable.

You may now tell me I'm wrong and/or a console noob as if I've never played PC games before.

Yeah, the actual combat system is greatly improved over Origins - there's a lot less deadweight in the talent trees and everything feels very fluid. The failing is in the encounter design, which is, well...awful.

That said, as fun as it may now be, another 3+hour crawl like the run to the Anvil from Origins would still suck.

Good point. I wouldn't want it that long but the crawls in DA2 are too short. You have like a four minute cave, followed by a three minute walk here and now you're done. Short and small areas that are populated by spawning points.

It's fine enough. I don't hate it as much as many gamers but I do think there could have been at least one crawl zone. The closest the game gets to that is the assent up Mount Sundermount which has a few load zones and is populated by a few stationary enemies.

I want to fight off an exalted March sent by the Divine and then in mid game the Qunari send another fleet to enact righteous justice in my carefully built Nod...despite that is unlikely the Qun would enact vengeance for people who failed their mission.

That assuming the book did not made it to Seheron...

I too would like something to do with Anders and Justice, but I would like to see some kind of resolution to that story. Will there be an opportunity to follow up on the Tevinter research on reversing demonic possession?

(Waits for the inevitable "Murder kife is permanent" argument...)

Anders survived a sword through the chest. A fruit knife in the back isn't going to finish him off unless the powers that be decide his tale is really over. And it didn't feel over. It seemed to me as if Cassandra was looking for him as much as for Hawke.

Edit: Why did the forum software insert asterisks instead of "solution" in "resolution"? Unfortunate typo?

Anders can die which is rather resolute. Not just murder knife. If you side with the Templars and turn Anders loose he comes back and you're forced to kill him. That storyline's done.

And there's no Tevinter possession creme that'll help Anders. He lied to you so you could gather ingredients for his bomb. The Sela Petas or whatever sounds an awful lot like salt peter, which kinda helps the whole 'it's a bomb' theory a lot.

I think even the gathering of Sela Petas made it fairly clear it was salt petre.

And your right about Justice being not that interesting. Justice is a spirit, an embodiment of one ideal. The interesting bit is what happens when mixed with a mortal.

Of course this does start to ask questions about what changes can happen to other spirits on merging and how it affects the resultant gestalt.

It makes sense though that the people who typically invite Pride/ Sloth/ Desire/ Rage in, are not typically the ones to influence the resultant in a good way.

All this conjecture is probably left to some insane wizard and unwitting test subjects though.

My vote is for a DLC that resolves or explains the story behind the Justice posession. I'm more interested in the Fade than the Deep Roads. All I need to know about Deep Roads is that there's a lot darkspawn there. The Fade, however, still intrigues me.

I honestly don't think we're going to explore anything about Anders past before Hawke met him. I may be wrong on that but I really don't think the DLC's going to go like that.

The thing I want to know in a DLC involves that terrible plot item the pure lyrium tiki idol. I dislike it so much because of reasons I've gone into a hundred damn times. I really dislike that idol. But perhaps a DLC that focused on figuring out what it was, where it came from, and what it does would help in lessening the feeling like it's just a cheap excuse for Meredith's insanity.

There's all those Profane, red lyrium, all that noise too.

Barring that, there is a war going on and I still don't see strong ties between the Kirkwall Incident and all the Circles rebelling. Exploration on the how's and why's on that would be great.

Completely forgot about the damn thing until the end.

I never forgot about it. Varric's ominous "If we knew what was down there, we'd never have gone." Line made me think the main plot finally arrived (I was convinced by that line that Hawke found some proof that the Maker doesn't exist and that collapsed the Chantry and then the Templar spun out of control which caused Mages to think they could rebel and so-on and so-forth).

And then nothing really came of it, I noticed Meredith had a new sword in Act 3 but...we never got a clear shot of the Idol so I never put two and two together until the reveal at the end of the Act. At which point I rolled my eyes and said, "Lame."*

*Note, I actually did not say lame. I just thought it was a lame excuse.

I'd prefer if they start bridging it to DA3. Maybe slowly moving forward to... whatever is happening in Orlais.

Orlais. Do not want.

Yes, I do realize that we'll probably have to go there. I'll just have to play with the sound off.

I'd like to see a dlc that lets you see one of the different lands they speak of and allows you to visit them after you beat the game with your beefed up character....a "more story" dlc is boring because the game already has hours upon hours of dialogue which already makes up most of the game
