Hi Folks,

I have a very reliable crash to report and see if anyone has a fix for. The crash occurs after a shattering attack. Its like clockwork. I do not cash under any other circumstances during the game.

Game is fully updated.
OS is Windows 7 Professional 64bit, fully updated.
Core 2 Duo E8400; 8 GB RAM; ATI HD 3800

Exception Code:    c0000005
Exception Offset:    000d8814
(Which is just a GPF I believe.)

I intend to try some of the fixes posted here, but whereas this crash is fully reproducable and consistent, I thought it warranted its own post.

Thanks

I do wish I knew which solutions you were trying. I have the same issue, consistently. I realize that the problem is likely the 3800series graphics card (same one in my system, and I think I'm on the 11.6 Catalyst drivers). I might just take that one out and place in my 4890.

The read first post pinned to the top of this forum has posting guidelines. Without that information, no one can suggest a solution or even begin to narrow down the circumstances that cause it to warn others. "Game is fully updated" could mean the 1.04 patch or the 1.05 beta patch, just as an example. If I recall correctly, your video card is below the minimum (I can't double check right now-typing from my phone), which could be causing the issue, but again, more info is needed.

Since there never was any such thing as an HD "3800", that could mean one of two things, a high-mid 3850, or a High End 3870, The official Recommended Graphics was the HD 3850.

Failing to provide a normal report leaves only the option of guessing, which is of no practical value.

Apologies. I was just making a me too post on this original post, and wasn't expecting to see a reply. You have my thanks. Now I wish I was sitting in front of the PC in question, to get a more accurate specification list via the system configuration utility

PC: AMD Phenom 2 720, Asrock 770DE+
64 bit Windows 7sp1, Directx Runtime July 2011, 4 GB Ram
512MB DDR4 HIS 3870 IceQ3, ATi Drivers 11.6? might be .7
1TB Seagate 7200.12

The Origins version I bought was the Ultimate Edition, non-download (bought it @ EB on DVD for PC 2 months ago). Its the 1.04 patch by default on that release. Post a config list in a little bit. I was going to try the processor affinity thing I read elsewhere first ...
