hi,

I have played DA2 twice in regular full screen mode. Once with Windows XP, then switched to Windows 7. It was all good until one day it wouldn't start. All I get is a message saying that DA2 has caused a problem and that as soon as a solution is found I will be notified. So I upgraded my graphic card drivers, even did a windows recovery, but still nothing. So I changed the graphic details from high to medium, AA to off and still it didn't work. Then I changed from full screen mode to window mode and voila! it works perfectly now. Except that it's in f...ing window mode (I hate it!)

My computer stats are:

Phenom 9950 quadcore
Nvidia GTX 260 (I got the upgraded driver 267.59)
4 GB memory

But like I said, it worked perfectly. The trouble started without me doing anything to the system! (there might have been some Windows update installs for Windows 7, but could that really screw up the game?)

I'll be grateful for any help!

has none an idea how to fix this? I have version 1.03 now and the problem is still the same I even disabled Gamer OSD and Smart Doctor, still no change...

Edited due to fact the problem was I'm a dofus

Hope someone can help you OP...I just had to manually enable Fullscreen in the Options. Not sure if that helps you at all.

You are probably dealing with a driver problem, not a GAME problem.  the Geforce drivers have mostly created conflicts with this game, except 270-whatever.
